Gun-wielding nutjob demands more conservative laws
http://www.dailytimes.com.pk/default.asp?page=2013%5C08%5C16%5Cstory_16-8-2013_pg1_1ISLAMABAD: The drama involving an armed lunatic and the apparently untrained police – staged in the high-security Red Zone of Islamabad – ended after almost six hours with the arrest of the man, who had been demanding implementation of an Islamic system in Pakistan.
The man, along with his wife and two children, had reportedly drove into the Red Zone, breaching all barriers leading to the area.
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Zamurd Khan’s role was pivotal in the capture of the gunman, who tried to disarm him and got injured in the attempt. The armed man, who had fired at least five random shots at the Constitution Avenue, Islamabad, was finally arrested by security forces on the directives of Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar, who had ordered the police to take him in alive. The police also took into custody the armed man’s children and wife.

It seems to me that every Muslim gets an AK-47 machine gun for their 8th birthday and an RPG when they turn 16. How? Where and who buys them? Don't the arms manufacturers ask questions?

I wonder if we could set up a kind of reservation in each region of the world where religious nutjobs of various like minded persuasions could live in like minded misery and leave the rest of us to try and make our lives more pleasant and maybe easier.

Wouldn't that be awesome? We've got so many places they'd like ... the Australian outback, the Sahara and Death Valley in the U.S. spring to mind.Vintage wrote:I wonder if we could set up a kind of reservation in each region of the world where religious nutjobs of various like minded persuasions could live in like minded misery and leave the rest of us to try and make our lives more pleasant and maybe easier.

Or Somalia. That's a paradise with no government.

They are NOT ruining Australia with their Nutjob-ness, we got plenty of Antartic territory they can stay in.
NO GUNS here so they are better off in Texas

They wouldn't have contact with ordinary people, just a reserve in the desert, is it the Victoria desert, the biggest one? Where they can oppress each other, suppress each other and generall y be mean and miserable to each other in complete freedom.

Hey, wherever we put them, we can build a big wall around them
and prevent people from arriving in boats
-- they'll love that part.

@vintage
no the Desert is were our wealth is (mining)
And still no cause it would be unfair on the Aboriginals (it's what we have left them)
And and a New South Welshman I say Victoria is a Desert but only cause it's a rival state.
not sure which is the biggest got like 5 deserts right nest to each other
@ Ben
we were discussing building a giant wall (think Kevin Costner's Waterworld) to stop the boats
