How Much Of A Picky Eater Are You?
You don't eat 3 out of 87 things on this list!
You’re definitely NOT a picky eater. Whatever the size, shape, smell, or texture; if it’s food, you’ll put it in your mouth. You probably look down your nose at anyone who IS a picky eater, but look on the bright side — you can eat anything they don’t finish!

You don't eat 20 out of 87 things on this list!
You’re not that much of a picky eater. You’re never afraid to try something new, even if that occasionally means eating things that make you want to be sick in your mouth.
lol

Yeah not a huge fan of them by themselves
but Pâté is normally made of Liver and I Like Pâté. :::cass:::
And steak and kidney pies are good too.
Tripe and tendons are worse....
never had (not sure if you can) lungs
I've had fish eyes and they we're NOT great, so I can't imagine any of those sheep/goat eye delicacies actually being any good.
Heart meat is pretty good.
Pork bung is about as horrible as you'd expect.... :aspukeas:

Re: How much of a picky eater are you?
Honestly, there's nothing on the list I wouldn't try. Some of them I don't eat but it doesn't mean I wouldn't, especially if it was a case of someone else making it out of courtesy. Now, there are a few things I haven't eaten on that list, but really, when I think of what I would not eat, if I had to come up with an answer it'd probably be insects.

Re: How much of a picky eater are you?
36 items, so that makes me picky. A lot of them were meat or fruit. I'm not keen on some sauces either.
Oh, and also refried beans.

I didn't eat 23 things and I'm a very fussy sort
You are a very picky eater! So much so that going out for dinner is a never ending round of “could I have [x] but without the [y]”. People give you shade, but what do people know!? Eat whatever you want, and politely turn your nose up at anything you DON’T want. Especially goat’s cheese.

MOST of those foodstuffs are still in my usual diet somewhere..
THE only items I don't eat on there are liver (I try to avoid most offal; though obviously one never knows what may find it's way into sausages, pies, pizzas..), and Marmite (good marketing there on someone's part - finding a new and more profitable market in the late 19th century for brewery dregs that had previously been used as an additive on cattle and horse feed..).
the only time I use marmite is a light dab on roast potatoes and then only a few times a year

Re: How much of a picky eater are you?
OK, so what do you spread that stuff on typically? I'm thinking I need to pop down to the British Foods section of my local grocer and give it a try
Also, I recently had occasion to ask myself if I ever have a meal where I don't use chillies or habanero sauce ... my answer was, breakfast! My mom works in a pharmacy and said she notices most of the people who buy antacids are Mexican, so now I don't feel so bad

get Vegemite same but better (because it is from Australia)
Toast is the normal thing but where Americans usually stuff it up is they put it on like Jam or Peanut butter.....
It should be a Micro fine layer, butter should be at least 2 to 3 times the volume on the toast.
It Takes a REAL Aussie to eat Vegemite like Peanut butter.. and even then many cannot
Being French Australian I recommend Vegemite on Croissants, the high butter content of the Croissant helps with the Vegemite butter ratio.

Ben
can you get yakult
Much better than Antacids which can damage stomach lining and create on going chemical imbalances that you treat with even more antacids in an infinite cycle of indigestion..
there are other Yoghurt like drinks that are similar. Yakult is just one of the originals from Japan

can you get yakult
Greatly reduces gas too
Yakult is a fermented milk drink that contains a very high concentration of the beneficial bacterium Lactobacillus casei Shirota strain.

Re: How much of a picky eater are you?
OK, so I tried Marmite (couldn't find any Vegemite at the store), and uh ... nah. I kind of wish I'd researched it a bit before, because I kept thinking I was smelling piss as I ate my toast, and then I looked it up and saw that Marmite is high in uric acid.
Definitely not the worst thing I've ever eaten, but I don't see the appeal. Think I'm going to brew a nice strong coffee to knock the taste of it from my mouth ...

I can hack it, it just smells like piss so I can't figure out why I'd want to
You get yourself a jar of habanero salsa and some tortilla chips -- your challenge is to get through two tablespoons of salsa. Use as many chips as you'd like. (And for putting out the fire in your mouth, I'd recommend beer.)
- Veya: I'm sure that's right. I'll have to try Vegemite sometime, though, see if that's any better (seeing as it's not British, it probably is).
Re: How much of a picky eater are you?
I don't think Vegemite is Urine tasting

I used to represent the Teamsters in So. Arizona, which covered the copper miners. Mostly Hispanics. One time I was invited to a pig roast (in the ground) and somehow I got into to a discussion about the hottest peppers. The Mexican guy I was talking with challenged me to a chili-eating contest. The women scurried around grabbing medications and sooting agents, and chattering in Spanish.
When the time came, we each started with the pico de pajaro pepper and moved up. The women didn't get beer. They got milk...and sour cream for any extreme cases.
Neither one of us won. We both were too much in tears. But I learned, go for milk products, not beer. Lol

Poor Ben x
The advertising campaign for Marmite in the UK is you either love it or hate it
I don't love it or hate it but the only way I really enjoy it is with cheese in slices or the whirls I mentioned above.
Perhaps you should put your pastry making skills to the test? ::D::

Yep the Burn ::D:: is caused by the Acid in the Chillies... Milk (dairy Products) are Alkaline (opposite end of the pH scale) so it cancels the Acid out..
