Tory disrespect stains WWI centenary commemoration
From a couple of days ago.
The cards were written by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport and only David Cameron was given the chance to write a personal message. The others got the wreaths with the cards handed to them just a few seconds before they had to place them. And who the hell took the time to go and look at the cards and make them public? - certainly not Miliband or Clegg.
What a bunch of chancers this lot in power are that they would stoop to such a thing by being so disrespectful to all the people that lost their lives fighting in a bloody war that should have been the war to end all wars.
Those that jump on this to use it in the same way to discredit those attending the service are just as bad and they should be ashamed of themselves. But I suppose we shouldn't expect anything else.

I agree.
A very lowlife form of politics.
The Culture sec should be reprimanded or fired if it proves to be true.
Maybe the media should check out all the facts before condoning. Guess that will never happen.
But on the other hand, maybe the two leaders should have been more prepared and their aids thinking before events to ensure the cards which they would have undoubtedly expected to be on the wreaths had been properly messaged. Maybe both were unavailable to holiday or work commitments to bother.
