Hard disc failure
Does anyone know about this and which would be cheaper to fix....A new screen for one laptop or deal with the other laptop problem?
I'm using my partners laptop and we have to keep on swapping over!
Thanks!

Re: Hard disc failure
hard disk is cheaper to replace but you will have to reinstall everything including windows.
Generally if the screen is broken it is cheaper to buy a new laptop if the laptop is more than 18 months old.

The laptop with the hard drive problem is a more expensive one and i was thinking that it would better to send that one into repair!

Doesn't matter if he did say something - being beaten is wrong.
