Lad's mags in supermarkets
I've just been watching Sky news and their feature on the Co-operative supermarket asking so called "Lad's mags" to be produce in modesty bags which cover the scantily clad female on the front cover.
Why?
Why?

I guess so pissed at the narrow minded prude patrols that come up with this idiocy.

Whoa! The Daily Mail states that
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2380574/Co-op-declares-war-lads-mags-Supermarket-insist-modesty-covers.html#ixzz2aSSwkQUt
Sounds like hysteria -- wording that would lead some to think they're not adults!
I have seen this impulse so many times from the ignorant reactionaries of the world. I worked at a video store in college, and I couldn't tell you how many times some redneck woman would tell me that she didn't care if her kids rented something with blood and gore, but they didn't want them getting anything with nudity.
"So you'd rather your child watch someone being beheaded than see a naked butt or some boobs, huh?" I would nonchalantly ask them. (Several hours after they'd left.) (In my imagination.)
Not surprisingly, the stores say they want the modesty bags because of the age-old guardians of morality -- "concerned parents."
They regularly show pictures of topless young girls in suggestive poses.

It's all very ridiculous you can look at a catologue and find similar images in there.

Exactly, the people who are complaining will probably take their kids to Bournemouth for a holiday and see women with huge breasts in bikinis walking along the beach. I wouldn't mind but young kids may have only been off the breast for a short period anyway.

Teens will find any kinds of means to find content to get off on...We used to go down to the woods near i lived and we used to find magazines with the pages stuck together and couldn't understand why!

Well some women still sunbathe topless in their own gardens and in London many houses are overlooked because it's so built up....Even in the Shires the same thing happens and people can look over the fence as my mother used to complain to her neighbour the pervy old git!

It's ridiculous and amounts to censorship and religious people are spearheading it!
