Gave up a level 5, had too many product that we don't get here and very euro centric..

Fricken Italians... do other Europeans actually believe them when they claim it is different JUST because 1 herb is different? cause here we say Nuh that's still the same sauce.
It's one thing everyone says when the come back from Italy Food is shit they have no idea what variety means and have half dozen dishes with 50 different names.

which was impossible 3 questions about some Rick Stein chef I never heard of and then a question about Apples all 4 varieties listed are not grown in Australia.

And REALLY are most of your apples used for cooking because Most of ours are for eating raw? the question doesn't even make sense to an Aussie.  

And Also the answer for ALL the cheeses is Southern highlands to South Australia... we have stolen them ALL who cares which little town in Europe made the inferior original       

No, most of our apples are for eating raw, but we have quite a few different cooking ones, and also those for cider making.

Sorry Veya, have eaten Australian cheese, it ranks with Fosters in the league table of food.

umm who drinks fosters? Honestly it is not even for sale here except in tourist bars. If you have had an equivalent Cheese (a cheap export one) than that is really not a fair judgement. keep in mind some things are made to travel 1000's of miles to the markets they will be sold in so Plus we do American varieties too that are always a bit processed.

We have only invented one type called 'tasty' which is like cheddar

Nope, you stole the cheeses we had back then, we have progressed rather a lot since then and become much more picky lol

Pom's seem to think they invented them; but they seem to have missed the fact that "new world" companies have "stolen" the industry from them over the past century...

Granny Smith apples were "discovered" over here in granny Smith's garden during the 19th century..

(One of my friend's from Hawkesbury is a major apple grower down there..).

THERE are dozens of varieties of apples grown in Australia, and only a handful used for cooking. Many of the varieties that weren't bred here came from the USA or parts of Asia ~ they probably haven't even seen some of these yet over in those backwaters of England..

There are 'boutique' cheesemakers around the Hunter and up the coast...
AND imports from across the ditch in Kiwiland..
BOTH groups regularly thrash Euro' cheesemakers in competitions these days,as well !    ::happ::

FOSTERS did make a passable drop back in the 1970s and early '80s...

THEN they fell into foreign ownership, turned their marketing more towards exports. These days Fosters drunk in Britain and Europe isn't even made back in Oz..

Fosters has been contracting out the brewing of "Aussie" beers to a local brewer over there for the last couple of decades ! (Probably owned by the same parent corporation, even..).  :aspukeas:
