Christian group quotes Hitler on billboard ad
A billboard at the Village Mall in Auburn, Ala., features five smiling kids beneath a quote from Adolf Hitler: "He alone, who owns the youth, gains the future."
According to Lamar Advertising's Montgomery office, the billboard was rented out by Life Savers Ministries, based in Opelika, Ala.
Hitler's quote traces back to his speeches of the '30s, and has historically been tied to the Nazi youth programs.
The billboard went up Friday and will be taken down Tuesday, per LSM's request.
"We are pulling the billboard and certainly never intended to cause confusion. ... Herbert Hoover would have been a far better one to quote when he said, 'Children are our most valuable resource,'" founder James Anderegg told the Ledger-Enquirer. "We are a children’s organization and had honorable intentions and nothing less."

never heard of that church , and wouldn't have know that was what Hitler said so wouldn't be any the wiser . Glad they took it down though , but they should have thought carefully before putting something like that up.

They did, check out the picture! They attributed the quote to Hitler right on the billboard.
The thing that gets me, there were a lot of steps to going from "let's buy a billboard ad" to actually putting it up. They probably hired a designer and had approvals that had to go through several people at their organization. At not one of those steps did someone say, "Hey, maybe it's not a good idea to quote Hitler in our ad." It's baffling how this could happen.

Re: Christian group quotes Hitler on billboard ad
In 1936, membership in Nazi youth groups became mandatory for all boys and girls between the ages of ten and seventeen. After-school meetings and weekend camping trips sponsored by the Hitler Youth and the League of German Girls trained children to become faithful to the Nazi Party and the future leaders of the National Socialist state. By September 1939, over 765,000 young people served in leadership roles in Nazi youth organizations which prepared them for such roles in the military and the German occupation bureaucracy.

Hitler was absolutely spot on too wasn't he?
Very wise words.
I wish our liberal elite were as clever as the muslims, who realise that Hitler was spot on!
