Should The BBC Charge £20 Per Year Subscription? 3 Billion Homes Worldwide Vs 20 Million In The UK
3rd June 2014
Very interesting. Instead of milking the English to pay for the rest of the world's TV viewing, why not bring some equality in?
Please discuss.

Oh well, see Benji, it seems the English only want one thing - the end of immigration.

I think the BBC would raise more money this way.
And i think the English would be much happier.

If you think it would increase your country's happiness then go for it.
I'm just saying that I wouldn't pay for it. I never watch the BBC.

The proposal isn't very detailed so until a more detailed proposal is put forward I would say leave the BBC alone. I enjoy listening to Radio 5 live on the car radio when I'm out and anyway I pay enough as it is to sky just to watch the football and some films now and again.

Licence fee paid in full Andy and by direct debit as well.
You don't pay then?

Yes, i do!
So you pay £145 per year.
And my suggestion was £20 per year.
So how would that make you say " I pay enough as it is to sky " which implies you only pay Sky fees and nothing else?

Meaning I pay enough as it is to sky to watch football matches that are not on the BBC for which I pay a licence fee.
That explain it?
