Favourite push bike thread..
...when I was a wee lad I had a few bikes, but here are three of my favourites
Micron 5- smaller size 5speed racer( I put real indicators on this as well as a wee made up number plate for on the front and back mudguards!!...and I taped a foghorn canister to it to fleg the auld wife's fae behind!!
Another was a Budgie, a wee blue bike similar to the gold coloured Tomahawk I had with chopper style handlebars
Then my brothers had like an Eddy Merckx bike, a Grifter, a Chopper ( 3 gears with a'T" shaped hear lever ,so cool! and heaps of others I really can't remember by name.
Ok folks...
What bike(s) did you have and what was your favourite?

Ah, but bikes are incredibly useful for when your car breaks down or you need to make a short trip. I played it smart, got myself a nice bike used for about $150 during the dead of winter when nobody was thinking of riding. You appreciate it when you can make a trip of three miles in 10 minutes, as compared to walking for a half-hour or more

I'd love a camper van with a couple of bikes strapped on the back. Spent six months travelling in the West Country with a caravan and a couple of bikes. Total freedom for half a year, it was brilliant!
