Gavin Boby: Leading the Fight to Stop Islamization

The Islamization of the West is charging full speed ahead with over 1500 mosques in England alone. While politicians talk about curbing immigration and groups like the EDL protest, most people feel powerless as they see the former glory of their nation slip away in the sea of political correctness, multiculturalism and out-of-control Muslim immigration. Attorney Gavin Boby, however, is doing something about it.

Gavin Boby is the founder of Law and Freedom Foundation, an organization which started in 2011, to empower local communities, facing the threat of new mosques or mosque expansions in their neighborhoods, to be proactive and use the law to fight against Islamization. To date, Law and Freedom Foundation has stopped 17 out of 19 mosque planning applications, a success rate of nearly 90%. And as Boby told me, his goal for 2014 is to oppose all mosque planning applications in England, effectively putting a freeze on mosque construction. He has no doubt this can be accomplished.

Anyone anywhere in England can contact Boby’s organization at the early planning stages of a new mosque, and as the Law and Freedom site states, “We can offer you assistance, advice and support to get your concerns heard by those elected to represent you. There is absolutely nothing unlawful about using the consultation procedures that Parliament has provided for your protection, and you should not let anyone make you feel ashamed of doing so. We are extremely proud that, when worried neighbourhoods approach us for help with this, we provide it.”

Is this racist or Islamophobic? Absolutely not, and here’s why. First, Islam is not a race, and Muslims can and do have any skin color, many being white. And second, the word “Islamophobia” suggests an unfounded hatred or fear of Islam or Islamic people based on ignorant prejudice. But Islam cannot be compared to any other religion. Mosques are not houses of worship; they are houses of hate. What is preached in mosques is antithetic to the values of our Judeo-Christian society: anti-Semitism, (anti-all-non-Muslims, in fact), misogyny, world domination and above all, violence.

For a little perspective, Law and Freedom highlights an article by Mordechai Kedar and David Yerushalmi entitled, “Sharia and Violence in American Mosques,” which has the disturbing results of a study done on 100 mosques across the US and what goes on inside. The majority contained violent materials, mostly books and videos, and there was a direct correlation between Sharia-compliant mosques and the violence promoted. Mosques were identified as Sharia-compliant based on 12 Sharia-adherent behaviors of the worshippers and the imam, including gender segregation and whether or not they wore strict Islamic attire.

It may seem like a basic premise, however the findings clearly showed that where Muslims dress more Islamically, more violence was promoted. It’s a safe bet that when you see a woman dressed in full Islamic garb, niqab and all, she attends a mosque which preaches violence and encourages Muslim “charity” to finance terrorist groups.

The conclusion to the study? As it states on Law and Freedom’s site: “Nearly three quarters of mosque-goers attend ‘severe’ (offering modern materials with a violent political axe to grind) mosques; just over one fifth go to moderate (predominantly worship and ritual with some positive attitudes towards violence) mosques; and 3.5%, or one in thirty, go to mosques with no violent materials in them.”

A perfect example of the hatred and violence bred in mosques is the Dar Al-Hijrah mosque in Virginia where Al Qaeda “spiritual leader” Anwar al-Awlaki was once imam. Connected to the 9/11 attacks, Al-Awlaki also served as the inspiration for Nidal Malik Hasan, the Fort Hood shooter convicted in the worst shooting on a US military base in history. But that’s not all. Al-Awlaki was also connected to the 7/7 bombings, the 2006 Toronto terrorism case, the Fort Dix plot, the Times Square bomber, and various other attacks and plots. And several terrorists connected to the 9/11 attacks as well as prisoners detained at Guantanamo Bay have ties to the same masjid. Yet this mosque was recently honored by the Virginia State Legislature for their outstanding ‘community service’. This goes beyond political correctness but is what we’ve come to expect from our political leaders.


Politics, in fact, play an important role, and the building of mosques is an intrinsic part of the ultimate goal of Muslims in the West. Boby concludes that, “they are the bridge between hijrah and dominance, because they act as rallying points and fortresses.”

To further understand the significance of the mosque to Islam, Y.K. Cherson explains in “Muslim Immigration: Preparing the Attack”:

“At the initial stage of immigration, Muslim immigrants must create the conditions and infrastructure necessary to support the physical presence of Islamic faith. The main goal at this stage is the creation of the Ummah, or community composed of both Muslims and non-Muslims- but run by Muslims…

“One of the most important elements in this process of creating the Islamic infrastructure that would mark the physical presence of Islam is a mosque.

“Immediately after arriving to Medina, Muhammad started to build a mosque. The Quba Mosque (Quba’ Masjid or Masjid al-Quba), in the outlying environs of Medina, is the oldest mosque in the world, and its first stones were positioned by Muhammad personally. The mosque in Islam is the locus of Power, and the strategic base and center of all activities. Muslim leaders offer solutions to those who need financial help- but the necessary requirement of this help is to fight alongside with Muslims and follow their laws.

“Building a mosque is mistakenly viewed by non-Muslims as just the construction of a house of worship, but its true goal is establishing a purposeful non-integrated Muslim identity to advance the goal of posterior Islamization…”

If this is the key to eventual Islamization, Muslims are well on their way. The number of mosques across the West is multiplying exponentially. In 2012, Marshall Frank took the example of Islam in the US when he wrote:

“The number of mosques in the United States has increased 74 percent in ten years according to a study released by the Hartford Institute for Religious Research. In 2000, the U.S. reported 1209 places of worship for Muslims.  In 2010, that number has risen to 2106.  In 1990, the number stood at approximately 700. This, in a period of time when the radical Jihad side of Islam has established unwavering goals, in writing, that the United States is in their crosshairs for being conquered …from within.

“This 74 percent growth has occurred in the years following the deadliest warring attack on American soil in history, perpetrated by radical Islamists. Might point out, that those ‘radical’ Islamists spent many months prior to the 9/11 attack posing as ‘moderates’ in order to assimilate and evade suspicion…

“If the pattern holds true, there will be more than 4000 mosques in the U.S.by the year 2020, and 8000 by 2030…”

One of these mosques is the Memphis Islamic Center in Tennessee. It is currently 6000 square feet but plans a $6.5 million expansion, which will create a 63,144-square-foot facility with an indoor gym, exercise rooms, classrooms, a daycare area, a library and more ‘worship’ space.

This is the type of thing Gavin Boby fights. In September 2011, Boby’s organization was able to stop the building of a megamosque in Dudley, England, and the objective is to stop all mosque applications this year and in the future. If local communities are willing to take a stand and defy political correctness, Boby’s success rate of nearly 90% proves that where there is a will, there is a way.

Next on the agenda for the Law and Freedom Foundation? Boby’s crusade against Muslim grooming gangs and their rape jihad against non-Muslim girls by informing the public (see the report “East Meat”) and providing support for the victims who feel they have been let down by the authorities, which he explains in his most recent interview with Jamie Glazov.

What Gavin Boby has done is take his field of expertise and apply it to the fight against Islamization. There are ways to legally, civilly and morally get involved and make a difference without sitting idly by, feeling helpless. With a rare optimism and refusal to be content with the status quo, Boby is a testament to that.
