What could be warmer than a Yorkshire welcome? And it seems the organisers of the Tour de France agree, chastising the Yorkshire tourist board for suggesting that volunteers avoid calling visitors 'pet' or 'love'.

Organisers of the Tour de France's visit to Yorkshire have insisted the last thing they want to do is tone down the county's identity.
