This is our Benny when he was a puppy
We were all in the same house and OH and I had the top floor as a kinda flat so we had some space to ourselves, I put a gate across the top of the stairs so I could keep an eye on him during the day without having to go up and down. That's my easel set up permanently, grandaughter and grandson playing with Benny.
