And of course, the sparkling is her favorite part
The effort to get eddie this gift was organized and managed by my very thoughtful stepson. He's got a really big heart, even if he doesn't always show it -- takes after his mother a bit that way.

That is a lovely ring. I like rings very much - along with earrings, have to be silver though.
I have quite a hoard but can't wear them these days fingers joints too large now so I just enjoy looking at them and polishing them.
Enjoy your lovely ring from your equally lovely family.

Thank you Vintage. I adore silver. I’m like a magpie for anything shiny. Ben has to steer me away from any trinket shops or jewellery stores...

I’ve got more silver than I can actually wear! I’ve always worn bangles and when I go to work I have to take them off. My children say “We can’t hear you coming up the stairs anymore!”

I love bangles too, same problem though, between one health niggle and another they won't go over my hand, except if they are sort of elasticated! I have trouble with watches now too. So much for old age at least my earrings are still wearable.

Get them made bigger perhaps? Or treat yourself to the elasticated variety, there are some lovely ones out there.
Check out “Annie Haak” - pricey but very good quality.

Oh thanks I'll take a look. My daughter is getting married, don't know when yet but as soon as they are able to arrange it, so I'll need some bling.

That's a gorgeous ring, very designer.
More valuable though is the thought that has gone behind the birthday gift.
That is precious beyond words.
