Study Shows Pot Doesn’t Cause Lung Cancer
The largest study ever conducted on marijuana’s relevance to lung cancer has come up with some somewhat surprising results. The National Institutes of Health’s National Institute on Drug Abuse funded the University of California at Los Angeles study, which found that smoking marijuana does not cause lung cancer, and it doesn’t seem to matter how much or how often it is smoked.

I've never believed it could anyway, there are far so worse things with cigarettes themselves, all the chemicals...and the tar that kills people...
Some though, will argue blind on this one !!
According to the daily mail, pot alone kills!

lol good point eddie.
And you can die from cannabis toxicity, as reported in the Telegraph:
Miss Moss' death was registered as cannabis toxicity and a coroner recorded a verdict of death by cannabis abuse.
In 2004 a 36-year-old man from Pembrokeshire became the first person in the UK to die from cannabis toxicity.

Sure...a very rare reaction at best,(even that's doubtful)and who knows what shit they pumped into their body apart from just smoking cannabis.

There's no way that the smoke you ingest from cannabis couldn't affect your lungs!
Especially the amount of crap some of it is mixed with.

Re: Study Shows Pot Doesn’t Cause Lung Cancer
as some one that smokes pot I highly doubt it does NOT cause cancer. Smoking anything will as smoke (or cooked food and a lot of other things) contain the carbon-7 molecule which is known to damage the DNA of cells creating the conditions for cancer to develop.
the side though is that VERY few people would smoke as much pot as cigarettes so they are still inhale less volume of smoke. so less chance of getting cancer .... i guess
