Who wants to go to Mars?
Apply HERE!!!!! https://apply.mars-one.com/registration/basic
There are still plenty of places I haven't seen on earth yet, once I've done and seen everything, I still won't go to Mars.
I wonder how many of those who already applied would actually finish the whole process and get on the ship?

Re: Who wants to go to Mars?
well seems dubious
78000
have paid the registration fee but under 600 have completed the process far enough to post a video for review.
Personally I find the idea exciting and would consider it if it were ran by Scientists and not Marketing gurus

Has anyone else read Stranger In a Strange Land? This story seems like the prequel.

I always mean to check out Heinlein's stuff but never seem to get around to it. I would definitely go to Mars. I mean, I could say I'd been to @##%&$^@^ Mars!
Re: Who wants to go to Mars?
It's a worthy read, if you ever get the chance.
As for Mars, I think it's a one way trip, at least for now. You may get to Mars, but you may never get back. I'd be more interested in going if it didn't feel like I'd be stuck with the cast of an MTV reality show. --Unless it was 16 and pregnant, of course.

***Of course, I'd also want to leave once they actually got pregnant.
