Which accent is the best?

Irish is nice, southern only though, I quite like a Scottish accent too.

But as I am a Londoner, I still like the London accent.

Yea...I'm South London, but very well spoken...So my Northern sister in law says, the best spoken out of all of the family!....Fuck that! lol!

I'm not a cockney but I'm not posh either, I probably speak property if the truth be known. I pronounce my T's and H's, for example.

I would much prefer the local Rosellas and Lorikeets over any man-made efforts..

And budgerigars have their moments, too.

Really can't go pass the Bellbirds, either ~ have to be 'Top of the Pops' for their unique morning and arvo' serenades !

Then there's our Aussie magpies ~ great mimics of all the other birds, animals and domestic livestock, (they can run into collections of dozens of various sounds ~ even including motorbikes, chainsaws and revving cars !).

Yep' ! Give me the local birdlife's accents over your Pommy and Euro' accents any day of the week.. clown

Western Islands of Scotland has a gorgeous lilt, almost singsong.
It's also the most breathtakingly beautiful place to visit in the UK.
And the single malt whisky is to die for.
Best thing of all , not an effing tory to be found for hundreds of miles.

Oh I'll second and third that, for any Highland accent. My OH is from the Nairn area near Inverness, and I fell for his accent completely.

Yes, of all the British accents, the lyrical quality of the island Scots is my favorite. It has an innocence, yet a curiousness about it. It really makes you want to listen.

And we're clearing a spot in Brasil for tories. Be gone soon.

I worked extensively in Wester Ross, the outer Hebrides, Orkneys, Shetland Islands, and at Oban, Fort William, Mull, Skye and even St Kilda.
Going back to my spiritual home this summer,
Hopelessly in love with the whole place.
