Man eats evidence in court to protect tipster's anonymity
Richard Masten, an executive at Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers and former police chief, has found himself in contempt of court after eating evidence in an open courtroom. He was asked to supply information on an informant, and since Crime Stoppers promises anonymity for tipsters, he ate the information right there in front of the judge.

Apparently he got two week's jail time. Bravo to him, though!
I relate from a journalist's standpoint; if we were compelled to out our sources, we'd never get any more.
