Can everyone see that new feature?

Small icons above a thread that tell how many posters (and who they are) that have contributed in the thread.

Why do some posters have their own little circle, and others are just lumped together??
It doesn't depend on the thread starter or who has made the most posts in the thread.
Does anyone have the answers?? Does anyone care???

At first I thought it was kind of a useless feature, but I can see how it's a quick way to see if a thread has a lot of contributions or if it's essentially a conversation between two members.

It's handy for that, so I can see it has a use.

I have now worked out why some posters have their own little avi at the top, and others are just bunched together with no avi showing.

Anyway, as you are not playing I will explain how the little icon thingys at the beginning of each thread works.
Thread starter is first, then whoever follows is shown and thread starters avi moves to the right.The more people who post the more little icons show. When more than 4 posters post, the origional poster is now in an unamed box....only the last 4 posters to enter a thread will show. The others will be grouped together in an unnamed circle, this circle will just have a number. Click on that number and the posters names will appear.
At the side of the little round boxes the overall number of posters who have contributed to that thread will show...in this thread for eg, 4 posters. If a new poster enters, my avi will not show anymore.
Simple really.

It's near the top of the page, left hand side, just below the topic headline.

Maybe it depends on what you are viewing the forum, I am usually on laptop or tablet.
