Get out of my pub' - Bath landlord kicks out Sir Keir Starmer | ITV News
2 minutes
Watch moment pub landlord confronts Sir Keir Starmer
A Bath landlord shouted "get out of my pub" as he ordered Sir Keir Starmer to leave the premises during a visit to the city.
Pub landlord Rod Humphris accused the Labour leader of failing to hold the Government to account over its handling of the coronavirus pandemic as Sir Keir visited independent traders in Bath on Monday 19 April.
He said he felt Sir Keir had "failed him" as a long-term Labour Party voter as he showed him a graph. Sir Keir took the piece of paper from the landlord and folded it up.
Things turned sour as Sir Keir and his team tried to enter The Raven, in Queen Street, as part of a pre-arranged visit to film inside.
Mr Humphris shouted: "I am the landlord. That man is not allowed in my pub."
As security teams held him back, he could then be heard shouting "get out of my pub, go on, get out of my pub" before Sir Keir left the premises.

You know him?
also, do you think Starmer is in any way a viable opposition?

I watched the video. He was out of control.
Anyone who thinks lockdowns were wrong is not right in the head.
The lockdown in the UK has saved countless lives.
The bloke is like Tommy, I have had Covid, there I am OK, fuck everyone else.
As to Starmer, I think he has been contrained by the lockdown, and he would be foolish to oppose what the Government has done simply for opposition's sake.
Quite rightly, he has said where he thinks the government have done the right things, namely lockdown, the vaccine rollout, he will support the government.
This doesnt make him look weak like Corbyn, but rather more statesmanlike.
I suspect as lockdown eases, Starmer will ramp up his attacks on Boris. He has plenty of ammo - Cameron, sleaze, Hancock, PPE contracts, the Northern Ireland border quandary.
I think he is correct to keep his powder dry until we are all safely out of the pandemic/

You made claims of drugs and alcohol abuse - can you stand by that
lies and defamation can destroy people and i was concerned about this. After some reflection I decided it would be a good idea to track him down and let him know what you have said and which site.
I hope for your sake you can back up what you say

I have no idea who these people are, but did the politician decide to use a certain business for some sort of video without the landlords permission?

Regardless of ones position on lockdowns or politics, if I ask you to leave my property and you don't, I'll get out of control too.

The meet was arranged with the co -owner, who couldn't make it.
The ranting guy just sounds obnoxious.

OK, I reread it.
The visit was prearranged.
So the upset guy was the landlord, not the pub owner?
If that's the case, he's out of line.

your allegations of alcoholism and drug taking goes way beyond ''nasty'' as i'm sure you know
your platform is irrelevant
the size of your audience is irrelevant
it only needs a few like you making baseless allegations for the world to think it's true
baseless accusations have been known to ruin peoples lives
and for what?
your own amusement? your own gratification? trying to make yourself feel a bit superior?
Have you got any idea how pathetic that is?

So are we to assume that people who say nasty things are alcoholics and drug addicts?
Maybe y'all can find a 2 for 1 deal at a rehab center.
