Madeleine McCann......new suspect.
First topic message reminder :
13 years on, have the police at last found the little girls abductor?
"MADELEINE McCann's paedo suspect told a pal he snatched the toddler on the tenth anniversary of her disappearance, it is claimed.
Christian B, 43, has today been unmasked as the prime suspect in the youngster's disappearance in Praia da Luz, Portugal in May 2007, in a bombshell breakthrough."

If you were on the jury for the paedo German, you would cast your vote as 'not guilty', even if he admitted to the crime 2

Until the whole truth has been established, every scenario must be allowed to be considered as possible... And allowed to be investigated fully...
Does anyone here disagree with that...???

Re: Madeleine McCann......new suspect.
Then let the police investigate, stay neutral on opining that the McCanns are guilty.
You are not the jury.
You are not the jury.

I would agree with that.
Let’s just hope the police don’t fuck it up again.

We all have different opinions Brutus.
That is what makes good debate.

You are not the police or the jury either...
Yet you are quick to dismiss certain possible scenarios, and condemn anyone who dares to say these scenarios are possible, even though there is a lot of evidence that points in that direction...
I wonder why...?

No one could disagree with that, which is why when a new suspect comes on the radar, his every move back when Maddie disappeared should be investigated.Tommy Monk wrote:

Personally I think the child was probably dead soon after she was abducted.
Owing to the cockups made by local police, any clues that could have been found went cold.....which is why i had little faith in their investigation, which was, as i have posted, led by a bent cop.
What I do find distasful is, everytime a new suspect makes the news, the McCanns are tried and found guilty over and over again.
Imagine losing a child, having to live with the guilt that you didn't protect her, and having to endure trial by public over and over again.

If it was led by a bent cop, maybe the police were involved in the abduction, or murder, or whatever it was.

Posts in the thread prove he is dishonest, there was never any indication he was involved in the girls disappearance.Original Quill wrote:If it was led by a bent cop, maybe the police were involved in the abduction, or murder, or whatever it was.

Ahah. Well, I haven't been following it. My criticism of the McCanns is limited to leaving the child alone, particularly in a strange country.

The problem with the McCanns is they give the impression to so many people that they don't really give a damn. They'd have to be cold types not to and just because they aren't in floods of tears all the time doesn't make them bad but unfortunately they seem to come across as shady, arrogant and have something to hide.

Then why did the UK sniffer dog indicate a strong smell of death in the apartment...?
And given that a dead body only starts to give off this scent after about 2-3 hours after death... What makes you so sure that the girl wasn't already dead 2-3 hours before she was reported missing by the parents...?

I answered this before, Sniffer dogs are not considered accurate enough in the UK for their findings to be used in a court of law.
That applies to any case not just the McCanns.
I do believe the girl was abducted, I cant explain contradictory findings, neither could police or experts 13 years ago, so I'm not 'so sure'.
I just have my own opinions....as do you.

But they are used to further investigations and to help police understand what's what...
If they had no valid use or benefit then they wouldn't be used at all...

They do have a valid use and they are beneficial, I think it's just that the percentage of their success rate is not considered high enough to use in a court of law.

Re: Madeleine McCann......new suspect.
I haven't got time to watch the full video just now, I watched the first few minutes.
Have to say as soon as this woman (who is she?) started using silly falsetto voices to mimic what people had said back then, I sort of got the impression she was coming in from a very biased direction.

There's an interesting documentary series on Netflix about all this.
You can see how the case swung from sympathy for the McCanns to hostility when they were accused of killing Madeleine.
You can also understand why the Portuguese police made them arguido and let's face it, many kids have been murdered by parents who sat and cried for the media.
