Price of gas or petrol
How low is it over there?
Paid $1.23 a gallon yesterday. Cheapest I remember in decades.
Not that I want expensive fuel but these drops in price are foretelling a serious economic crisis, especially for a lot of Texans.
Who remembers conversations about peak oil?

Has it dropped much? I was paying about double a few months ago.

There is a Saudi/Russian old-fashioned oil war going on at present. It's refreshing, if hard on the Houston area.
I remember .19-cents a gallon at Simas Bros. when I was a kid.

I remember my first trip to the US, the biggest shock to me was how cheap the petrol was.

I think we have (in Texas, every state is different) about 40 cents of every gallon being taxes. Other counties tax folks a few dollars per gallon. Pays for that free stuff.
