New column, deaths per million.

This is really the tale of the tape. Far right column and you can toggle it to put it in ascending or descending order. Click on the arrows.
For an example.
Italy has 113 deaths per million.
S. Korea 2 deaths per million
The US 2 deaths per million
The UK 6 deaths per million.

Re: New column, deaths per million.
'Genetics'...
But that very term will go straight over the empty heads of certain trash-talking far-right anti-science nongs around here..
When all other environmental, cultural and political factors are accounted for -- i.e. "all other things being equal" -- one then needs to look to common related traits within the populations.
Consider human population spread (i.e. 'migrations') over the last few millenia. Especially, consider the 'footprint's of the Roman and Ottoman empires, and then look to the regions that have the highest susceptibility and vulnerability..
Conversely, look to those regions with the lowest figures -- and consider if previous exposures to Covid-type viruses might have contributed some level of "herd immunity"... Likewise, some previous experience with similar 'pandemics' might have seen some Asian and S.E. Asian countries reacting more quickly..
Whereas in the USA, a privately-controlled health system, corporatist guvm'nt with a denialist White House, allied with its traditional "freedoms"/individualism/distrust of gov't redneck and 'libertarian' noisemakers, has left the nation chasing the pack, rather than leading..

It appears that Spain is giving Italy a run for it's money.
Of course at the time of this post, Italy hasn't posted any death figures and Spain has.

You know how if you are looking at the light of a star, that light started it's journey 2-million or more light years ago?
That's the way it is with Covid-19. By the time it is discovered and measured in a given person, it's already been well on it's path of infecting others.

You would have been closer to the bottom if you had a wall on your western boundary instead of your southern.

Those countries where both infection and mortality figures are expected to race up the charts over coming weeks, for various reasons, include :
USA
Indonesia
India..
Populations in both densely populated places (e.g. the Philipines and Thailand..), and some remote communities (e.g. Pacific Islands, Eastern Russia, the Canadian and Aussie "outbacks"..) will need to be monitored, as well.

Yes with a population of about 60 million, which is why their rate is off the charts.
I was hoping to see some leveling off or slowing down in Italy and Spain. No such luck.

And two new areas, because I think it matters because these two states are similar in population to many European countries.
