Humanity at its best
When faced with such a peril, humans often and do pull together to unite. No matter their differences
This is simple beautiful

I also did. I feel for the many people who have lost lives to this. In so many countries
Yet sadly the Italians are being held hostage to this virus

man in Golders Green Sainsbury’s wouldn’t give an elderly lady just 1 of a number of (the last) packets of dry pasta he had grabbed. He said no when she asked him politely. Very upsetting. We need a national kindness effort to look out for the elderly, infirm & vulnerable #BeKind

Yeahs right. Are you tolling me, you would not give a packet of pasta to someone in need?
Are you claiming you are like the man you explained in the story?

Oh I see, if I disagree, this makes me descended into madness now does it?
How in anyway does this still not bring the best out in people?
If some people are dicks, as you are. Does this take away the fact that such a crises will still bring the best out in many people?
Take as long as you like to answer

You accused me of descending into madness, so you reap what you sow
I see you could not answer the question could you
If before the crises people do not act and then during a crises, more people do act
Does this not then bring the best out in people?
Its not a hard question to answer is it?

Re: Humanity at its best
Having spent the best of 2 days doing a LOT of work to prepare I dont think your agressive assumption was either reasonable or paticularly warranted.
despite not being able to assist in any weay that involves contact, since both my missus and I are in the vulnerable group....
I have just reset all my comms gear to "emergency mode" (which allows me to transmit both on the amateur bands AND on public broadcast bands)...installed and tested DAB interfaces to allow me to broadcast DAB radio.
this in case the beeb has to close down local radio stations, as they think could happen, id things really go tits up.
and installed data base programs (which i loathe) to handle requests for assistance to our local community volunteers from those who may need help......

ermm...YOU sowed first ....
and NO it does not bring out the best in people......It brings out the best in SOME people......and the WORST in others....so the balance of human nature remains constant.....

Really I sowed the seeds, with what statement exactly|?
You just contradicted yourself
If it brings out the best in some people, then my statement is true is it not?
Just as its also true it can bring out the worst in some people
Both statements can be true
Takes as long as you like for this to sink into that pea brain of yours

oh didge...if you are so unaware of your own behaviour, what can I say.....
i posted a reasonable rebuttal to your uncalibrated claim ...that it brings out the best in humanity....which is not correct...it brings out the best in some humanity
thats fair and wasnt an attack on you was it??
you THEN attacked me...and whinge when i reply in kind???? WTF?
you sowed the seeds with the assumption that I supported the idiots behaviour
when I was actually using him to make my point....
that it does both.
though lets be utterly honest here Didge....
In the clip I saw ..its dark when the clip was taken...now granted it still gets dark early...but.......
whilst the Italians have produced some of the most stunning tennors and sopranos over the years.....If that lot started caterwauling and it was late......i'd wring their bloody necks.
(I know...i have no soul......)

My behaviour? Wow what a poor deflection
Man alive you hate being wrong and challenged
You did not post a reasonable rebuttal, you made a snarky comment in regards to my sanity
You started the nonsense here and now you can not own that you did
The point you still cannot grasp is that
Both statements can be true
If I was to say a crises beings out the best and worst in humanity
Correct?
So when I say a crises brings out the best in humanity, it certainly does. Just as it brings the worst in humanity
Because both statements can be true
As it takes a crises for people to act for good or bad
lol, well you are tone deaf when it comes to music
