Most humans fall into three categories .
1. Totally ignorant about how everything works
2. don't care about anything even when made aware
3. occasionally care but don't do anything about it.
Very occasionally some humans aren't ignorant and do care about what is happening in the world to other humans, other species and the planet as a whole, they are usually seen by everyone else as weird.
As individuals they may be ok but as a species humans are pretty rubbish.
