Crackdown on Dangerous Drugs Like E-Cigs

The deputy PM said: "“The general public sees that shisha and e-cigarettes are drugs which get youths hooked and make them neglect their studies and work, and may lead to serious problems for the nation,”
This in baffling because I've never seen a single Cambodian smoking shisha (its always the expats smoking at expensive shisha bars) and I've never seen anyone smoking e-cigs either (they are expensive and only sold in a few small shops).
Anyone (even kids) can buy a carton of cigarettes here for less than $3 and you can smoke pretty much anywhere you want. The funny/sad thing is, one of the shisa bars that is getting shut down is next to a place that has been selling "happy pizza" for the last 8 years (Happy pizza is pizza made with weed in the sauce) and the happy pizza place gets to stay open but the shisha bar is forced to close.
Never expect any logical reasoning or intelligent explanations from the Govt.

I've been using an e-cig for several years now and I can attest to its usefulness -- as a smoking cessation aid. Anybody who gets hooked on nicotine from an e-cig, however, is an idiot.
One great thing about e-cigs is that unlike with cigarettes, I have no diminished lung capacity whatsoever from vaping.
However, there's new evidence that cigarettes aren't actually addictive solely due to their nicotine content. There's an article on that in the latest edition of Discover Magazine; unfortunately the online version of the article has a paywall in front of it but here's the link anyway: http://discovermagazine.com/2014/march/13-nicotine-fix
