What is WRONG with Piers Morgan?

The guy is absolutely OBSESSED with slaughtering Meghan Markle.
Will he ever let go?
Is it the revenge because she spurned him?
He has become a figure of ridicule.
I wonder whether he will try to hack her phone for more dirt, like he did with Millie Dowler?
A reprehensible individual.

Not sure why he isn't told to belt up by his bosses, as he seems to be the reason GMB is losing viewers.

That is probably the only way to shut him up stop watching.

He is an odd one for me. He is far more entertaining than the traditional dull morning TV presenters of the past imo. I like his colourful take on things whether or not I agree with him. BUT, the way he often talks over guests is obnoxious and ruins debates sometimes.

His attitude toward Harry and Meghan has been absurd and obsessive; I read somewhere that his past involvement in phone hacking and their own separate cases on hacking may be part of it.

I watch this program, what pisses me off is Ms Reid talking over him every time !

He has history.
He was sacked as editor of the Mirror in 2004 for faking photos of British soldiers torturing prisoners.
Then he was implicated in serial.phone hacking, costing Trinity Mirror literally £millions.
Worst, he hacked the phone of dead schoolgirl Millie Dowler, without telling the police.
The Royal family sued him BEFORE Harry met Meghan.
Then he tried to ingratiate himself into Meghans good books.
She refuse to engage with him, with good reason, and he was furious, jealous and started his vendetta ever since.
He is jealous of Harry, a war veteran of 10 years on the frontline against Al Quaeda.
He is a qualified Apache pilot.
He founded and continues to run the Invictus games for war injured.
He has raised £billions for his charities.

Morgan is a corrupt serial liar, fraudster, racist, sexist phone hacker and should have served time at HMP.

Are you serious? We must watch a different show. She is way more considerate of guests and asks decent questions. If she jumps in sometimes, it's only because Piers goes off so much she has to to get a word in edgeways.

His job is to generate attention. It appears to be working.

The guy is a creep. He is a a stalker type. He’s lower than trash. He’s a walking, talking version of a tabloid.

Sadly his nastiness is what viewers want to see and read and that is a sad indictment on society today.

Piers was once an online penfriend of Meg. He felt slighted about the way she blanked him after she met Harry. Understandable to some extent but he's gone wayyy OTT with his vitriol . Completely abandoned all professionalism in his reporting and made it all very personal.

apparently some online lawyer mentioned to Piers (re his tweet about Meghan being 'a piece of work' and a 'spoiled brat' etc) that this sort of behaviour is outlined under the Harrassment Act and is the same behaviour that he's seen men prosecuted for so,,,,,,

Absolutely both of you. If he wasn’t in the public eye and this kind of behavior was exhibited to another woman, you’d better believe the police would be taking action.

The last thing that any news presenter or reporter should to is to seek to be the news. Sadly, too many of them are relishing the role of "celebrity" so much that they forget the basic rules of their trade.

Yes, the phone hacking scandal was a low point for British journalism in general. It always made me glad that I had chosen to remain in the provinces during my years in the trade.

Yes Fred and there was that business about a fake story about a soldier who had apparently been living in the rough after escaping his captives, he was rumbled cos he looked suspiciously clean & kempt. The photo was staged. It accelerated Piers' demise.

Wasn't he asked to resign as editor of the News of the World as a result of the investigations into THEIR phone hacking, a scandal that ultimately shut that appalling rag down?
He took over as editor of the Mirror, where he was implicated in yet more phone hacking in the Leverson inquiry.
Dodgy, dodgy man masquerading as a newspaper reporter.
That ceases when the reporter BECOMES the News.
