Trump contradicted by staff after U.S. assassination of Iran general

I can't believe we're assassinating foreign officials now.
In his short statement to reporters, Trump specifically said the US is not seeking “regime change” in Iran after the killing of general Qassem Suleimani.
But just hours after the strike was carried out, the president’s former national security adviser, John Bolton, expressed hope that the attack would be “the first step to regime change in Tehran.”

More turned up protesting mate
It's a hell of a turnout for a funeral of someone that wasn't liked.
I may be wrong, but I think we just created a Shiite martyr.

It's an empty room.

No chance. Their culture is their business. As an aside, why do we care if there is peace in the ME? We don't care about Ukraine. We don't care about Burma. We don't care about Crimea. We embrace murderers who run Saudi Arabia.
All the evidence is to the effect that we don't care about peace anywhere, including the ME. Why would you expect we would start caring about peace in this instance? Sounds like a red herring to me.

Perpetual war.

Where does Quills boundaries of health care extend to?
Just the US, or does he want free health care to all peoples of the world?
You see the left like Quill, do not want to step outside their boundaries to help people outside their nation
It makes Quill quite the nationalist and he fails to see that
I am done trying to reason with such a simpleton, but at least real heroes act to stop mass murderers
Night everyone

The link came from The Guardian. I'm not easily led by a anything. But I know what a large demonstration looks like.
No doubt there are plenty of Persians that are glad this guy is dead. Hell, I'm not losing any sleep as he was a shit stirring, murdering thug. I know there are plenty of Iraqis that feel the same way. But there are enough pissed off Shiites in the region for this to blow up and make things worse for a lot of people.

Evading the question. Perpetual war has no equivalent in humanism.
The basis of humanism is to stop wars, and make human life a happy condition. Stop killing babies and start saving lives by supporting healthcare, are two steps in the same direction.
