Veya's last visit was Monday last week, Nov 18th, so he's still keeping an occassional eye over how you dudes are behaving, even if he's not posting..

Cass, Raggamuffin, Syl and HT are all travelling in stealth mode, so that the dates of their last drop-ins/fly-bys remains "unknown".

Wolf and I have run together since January 2008.  We met on a site known as Female First (FF) owned and operated by one Stephen Rey, of Ashton in Makerfield. Wigan.  It was predominately RW, and we were a part of a large counter-cultural LW group.

We left and started a group known as Ministry, after one of our number who was a Colonel in the British Army (proving that we were not anti-military).  We went, as a group, including Wolf, me, and a lady known as Oriental Lady (from Hong Kong), and joined Sphinx's group, thence to Speak Freely, Victor's group, thence to here.  Wolf and I have been close friends and partners for almost 11-years.

So that's why you back him up every time and take no notice of his insulting remarks ? I thought you were an "Arse licker" , now you have just proven it !

I do think it's silly that people keep bitching about right wing, left wing bias around here. That's not the problem. Its childish insults and name calling that causes the problem, not political positions. I manage to go through life with plenty of people with very different political views. I will be spending several hours today with friends that have widely different perspectives. We will all get along well, because we won't be dicks to each other. Unfortunately on forums, many people behave in a manner they never would in real life. That's where mods need to step in and help them progress.

I don't like it when people ignore the message of a statement and choose to fixate on how it was phrased. That's pure-D snowflakery. If you take a lot of offense at how someone phrased something, that tells me you have nothing to say about the point they made.

If you're going to go online and make yourself a spokesman for your political ideology, you might take a page from the leaders of the American Civil Rights Movement.

They chose Rosa Parks as their poster girl very carefully. When they found out about her defiance on the bus, they combed through her background, looking for drug abuse, teenage pregnancy, anything at all that their foes could use to make her into the villain of the story.

So if you want to speak for the left, the right, the middle, etc., it would help your cause more if you sound like a mature, level-headed adult.
