I got so drunk today
so this morning i told my co worker that i would help her out with some update video training
went over there as promised at about 2 ish
we did some training
i drank tea, danced to a bit of elvis, encouraged her to get up and dance, but she just sat and drank lambrini
we did some more training
i drank more tea, i did some sit ups, i danced a bit more, i got her up to do a bit of dancing, she drank more lambrini
,
then we did some more training
she drank more lambrini, i drank SOME lambrini
then i did some more dancing, then she got out her exercise bike, then i had a go on that
we did more training, we both drank lambrini
then she got on the phone to her friend, and i vaguely remember chatting to her friend on the phone
we did some more video training ( WE FINISHED) we both drank lambrini and then we both danced and hugged and drank more lambrini
then at about 5.00pm i insisted i had to go (and sort out some dinner etc)
and then,,,,
i woke up on my sofa about 10 tonight and thought wtf???
just spoke to my eldest son who said ''don't you remember our phone conversation earlier today?''......(vague recollections),,,,,,
went over there as promised at about 2 ish

hi vin,
i don't really drink alcohol, except maybe if i'm with my dad and we go for a pub meal but even then its only one pint of ye old Doombar or some such,,,,,plus when i got there she was already two thirds down one bottle. then she went over the road and got another one. i'm not talking little bottles either. massive big fuck off bottles it looked like to me, and after about the third glass i lost count. is lambrini strong?

Lambrini isn't that strong. Alcohol by volume is at most 6.8 percent, which is way weaker than most wines and many beers.
For perspective, Doom Bar is 4 percent. So basically, you're a lightweight

A friend of mine was into amateur brewing and he once invented an awesome concoction that we named Olde Gruntfuttock's XXXX.
I think it was about a fortnight before my vision returned to normal.

Re: I got so drunk today
I have only one thing to say:
Everyone should get drunk, stoned, or take some mind-altering substance every once in a while.
Why?
Because it makes you see things in a different way.
And as long as you remember it all, that can only ever be a good thing.

I am not quite, but almost teetotal. A small glass of White Zinfandel about once a week, and probably 1 pint of DoomBar a month..I love waking with a clear head.

Well at least you have the capacity to appreciate a fine brew of ale.
What a shame that your head rarely achieves sufficient clarity to post anything that does not reflect your pathological hatred of any political opinion that runs counter to your own..

White Zinfandel is a contradiction in terms.

As expletives go, that's not half bad!
