I’ve lost my voice!!!

It was there when I went to sleep but I woke up and it’s perfectly, entirely gone.
I also ache like bugger.
I called in sick to work and my boss was like “Whaaaat? Who’s calling? Woncha speak up a little?!”

Surely hubby has left some Courvoisier cognac around the house. Any type of brandy will do. Nuke it for 40-seconds and drink it slowly...feel it killing those buggers as it goes down.

Have to confess, my first thought when she told me this morning was selfish: How the fuck is a video chat going to work if you can't talk?
Then I thought about the lost wages and our seemingly endless war to prove to the UK government that I should be allowed to live there ...
Then I was like, Dude, your wife is suffering, pay attention to that, what kind of son of a bitch are you anyway?
But yeah, no brandy in the house because we're sorta kinda broke a lot these days, and no way to nuke it because we don't own a microwave. No room under the sofa to stash secret brandy thanks to the 7-year-old and all her shit, either!

You fooked up, that's the only thing I can say. Always have some form of brandy. My personal fav is Remy Martin, but anathin' will do.
