Voice recognition and AI
I can speak to my tablet and post on a site as I can with my phone. The new update on my phone will feature a voice assistant that moulds itself to my habits and choices.
Is technology getting ahead of us?

Yes.
It is my opinion that technology is certainly getting ahead of us and essentially tainting us as humans.
People think advances in technology are wonderful but I worry about where it will take us.I can see a bleak future where machines replace people in the workplace. But then,i'm a worrier.

I don't worry so much about technological advancement as much as the pressure to jump onto the bandwagon that results in people buying high-priced gadgets they don't really need, understand how to use, or understand how they could be putting their sensitive data at risk.

£100 for a basic unlocked Windows phone with software that is only now being considered for iPhone?
iOS 8 copied (Apple doesn't steal) features that Android and WP have had for years. I look forward to the queues for the iPhone 6 that will have the usual recalls (you're holding it wrong).

Apparently alot of people are fed up with smartphones (i.e they don't know how to use them ) and are returning to the old school type mobile phone where all you can do is make a call and send a text if you're lucky.
I don't require my phone to be all these things at once.I just want to be able to text and make calls.I don't even desire a camera option on my phone,I have a camera thankyou. i don't want the internet on my phone,I have a computer.I want a phone..to be a phone! Oh God I sound stroppy
