The first example above alone shows just what an absolute geranium he is...

Anybody who wants to make slaves of disabled people deserves to rot in hell..

Davies is the sort of Tory MP that has done most damage to the party. Most of them are not like him, thank God.

I still choose to cast my vote in favour of the candidate that I consider will be the best for my community.

I am just glad Davies never contented my constituency.

A real nasty MP Empty Re: A real nasty MP

Post by Ben Reilly Mon Oct 21, 2019 8:13 pm

I'd take this with a grain of salt. I've been checking it against Wikipedia, and for one example:

In 2013, Davies voted against same-sex marriage because the bill did not allow for opposite-sex civil partnerships. In an interview with the BBC Two programme Daily Politics, Davies stated his reasoning for voting against it was "You can have civil partnerships and marriage for gay people. You can only have marriage for heterosexuals. It's not equality."

Now, that's not necessarily anti-gay marriage in my book, unless he just used that as an excuse.

He sounds like a cartoon character. Shocked Shocked  It's like a script writer was challenged to create the most extreme caricature of a conservative politician possible.

This is the problem with memes such as this, isn't it? They are circulated by an organisation or individual to promote a particular agenda or attempted discreditation, with the express intention that they will be multiplied through the social media, eventually changing or at least influencing attitudes on a large scale.

They are little more than caricatures or cartoons and in most cases any wordage attached to them is presented as actual fact when, in many if not most cases, it is nothing more than either personal or corporate opinion. Accuracy and balance rarely exist.

It's why I ignore them, either here or elsewhere. So far as I'm concerned they are nothing more than regurgitated spam.

With so many of them it is difficult not to see them; it is just that I do not actually bother reading them. Their main objective is to influence thought without the message being questioned too closely.

Goebbels adopted much the same tactic.

I suppose it's a start for an illiterate grunt like Rambo. The Beano comes next. Then progress to Topsy and Tim.

You keep taking the piss out of my Military service shows just what a slimy little sperm you are. I would love to see you after just one enemy engagement, then again I wouldn't see you, you'd be running away or crouched up a corner sobbing for your Mommy !

and no reason for our lefty cretins to once again berate an ex serviceman for his time spent.

I have had enough of it and not just because its nicko...

one more "baby killer" comment quill and I'm banning you....you ofc will say "because of your views" which is naturally idiotic nonsensical victim card playing. it is because you are deliberately flaming and trying to drive off another poster with whom you have got a beef of some sort and in concert with ANDY.

lefty pack behaviour.

I WILL NOT TOLERATE THE ABUSE OF EXSERVICE PERSONAL, NOR DENIGRATION OF THEIR SERVICE IN ANY FORM, WHETHER THE POSTER INVOLVED BE L/W, R/W OR BLOODY MINDED ALIEN SHAGGER........

THAT IS NOT A SUBJECT FOR USE IN SUCH A MANNER, AND UNLESS YOU CAN PROVE THE PERSON INVOLVED IS GUILTY OF A WAR CRIME WILL NOT BE USED AGAIN...

THAT IS FINAL AND BETTER BE UNDERSTOOD, AS MY FINGER IS HOVERING OVER THE BAN BUTTON....#
