'Hundreds' of young trans people seeking help to return to original sex

Hundreds of young transgender people are seeking help to return to their original sex, a woman who is setting up a charity has told Sky News.

Charlie Evans, 28, was born female but identified as male for nearly 10 years before detransitioning.

The number of young people seeking gender transition is at an all-time high but we hear very little, if anything, about those who may come to regret their decision.

There is currently no data to reflect the number who may be unhappy in their new gender or who may opt to detransition to their biological sex.

Charlie detransitioned and went public with her story last year - and said she was stunned by the number of people she discovered in a similar position.

"I'm in communication with 19 and 20-year-olds who have had full gender reassignment surgery who wish they hadn't, and their dysphoria hasn't been relieved, they don't feel better for it," she says.

I don't know why conservatives are so terrified of LGBTQ human beings. They would never bust a conservative's balls. Conservatives can't wrap their tiny brains around someone who isn't exactly like them and it terrifies them. LGBTQ humans do EXIST! They are born that way and they are trying to survive and be productive human beings just like conservatives. Their sexuality is none of ANYBODY'S BUSINESS!

Transgenderism is not something people are born with nor is it a sexuality

Maybe you need to learn what people are talking about and how many here are concerned with safeguarding children.
People can do what they like as adults and that is their choice. The issue here is people medicating children based off a view to claim children are transegnder based offg poor setroptyical gender views of females and males. That if a girls is a tom boy, they are being led to believe they are transgender. No child understands who they are as a sex at least until they are around 10. So for people to claim 3 year olds are transgender is fucking absurd and disturbing. As its generally the parents pushing this belief onto the child.

You may not want to protect and safeguard children, but i do from medical treatments thyat harm them. Which where many kids often grow oiut of gender dysphoria through puberty. Who by the way often grow up to find they are gay. Would through such poor medicating. Go onto believe they are the opposite sex and straight. Hencew a form of conversion therapy of gay people, but I guess that is okay in your book they to use conversion thearpy on gay children is it? Let alone all the potential harm of these drugs being used on growing children.

So stop inventing bullshit around sexuality, when nobody has made said views, when I have always fought for gay rights. What is coming under attack by trans ideology is gay and womens rights, but I guess that is also okay with you.

Yes, I gathered it was alt.truth bullshiet.  The only Thomas Hobbes I know about died in December 4, 1679, at Derbyshire, England.  He was an early-modern political theorist, and I wrote my PhD dissertation partly about him.
