These two issues may be all that stands in the way of a post-Brexit UK-U.S. trade deal
The BBC correspondent suggested Britain's commitment to protecting the Iran nuclear deal and potential collaboration with Chinese tech company Huawei could be the subject of negotiation during Mr Bolton's meetings with British officials.
He continued: "They are going to get a push at the door over maybe peeling Britain away from Iran nuclear deal, backing the tougher sanctions the UN are opposing and they are looking for collaboration with Britain over Huawei.
"You’ve got John Bolton who is going to flatter and who is going to probably issue a little bit of menace as well and say, ‘right, are you with us? Because you are going to need us much more after October 31'."
President Trump last month claimed improved ties between the UK and the US could have trade grow up to £1trillion after Brexit.

Have to say, I'd love to see a post-Brexit trade deal with between the U.S. and UK, if only because it might influence the government to let Americans in a bit more readily

I see no reason not to believe that Trump wants this deal. My suspicion isn't that he's lying, but that the deal will be bad for ordinary Brits but great for the rich on both sides of the Atlantic.
