A waitress is reportedly facing the sack for deciding not to give alcohol to pregnant women in their cocktails because she thought that it was 'right'.

In a post on the "Am I the a*****" Reddit, the server explained:

The waitress had no right to doctor the womans drinks, she is there to serve not to make moral or medical decisions and act on them.

She could have politely mentioned to the woman that if she preferred they served up some very exotic alcohol free cocktails if anyone preferred, even that could be construed as her overstepping the boundaries, but ultimately, only the management should make the decision who to serve or not.
