Trump abandoned Iran nuke deal to spite Obama, British ambassador says

Donald Trump abandoned the Iran nuclear deal as an act of ‘diplomatic vandalism’ to spite his predecessor Barack Obama, Britain’s Ambassador to Washington wrote in a bombshell memo to Downing Street.
Sir Kim Darroch’s claim – made after Boris Johnson made a doomed trip to the White House to change the President’s mind – is revealed in leaked cables and briefing notes which led to Sir Kim’s resignation last week.
The new revelation comes after an extraordinary row over the freedom of the press blew up this weekend, with Mr Johnson and leadership rival Jeremy Hunt leading the condemnation of Scotland Yard over its threats to prosecute this newspaper.

If this is true, it's beyond the pale. It's one thing to enter the White House and say, "I disagreed with so many things my predecessor did for X, Y and Z reasons, so I'm going to work to undo those things."
But to undo the work of your predecessor simply because you and your supporters hate your predecessor is immature trolling, not leadership.
Obama left in place many of George W. Bush's less controversial policies and only changed things he felt were done poorly -- he didn't change Bush policies simply because they were Bush policies.

I very much doubt it and it has to bbe said this is the best decision Trump has made
The very fact that Iran has stepped up its programm on enriching urnaium. Let alone the fact that it has been exposed they were looking to build nukes. Shows it was more Obama, being like Neville chamberlain. Appeassing an appalling Theocratic antisemitic regeme. When countries abusers, as Obama did with Iran. They lose any self worth as human rights supporters. The iraniam leadership has never liked the US, it has to go down as one of Obamas most dumbest mistakes

Trump is livid about Obama and anything he did, even though Obama is ancient history. It's his race.
But the Iranians are happy. They are now free to go ahead with their nuclear program.
Trump shouldn't mind. He is in love with Kim Jung Un, and North Korea already has nukes and is hardly going to put them away. Trump is just along for the party.

It won't be hard for Iran to make friends with Donnie the Dumpster, though...
All they need to do is give him a place to build a golf course or a new hotel..
Boris 'BJ' Johnson will be in more trouble when his mob take over in Britain next month -- putting all of the Diplomatic Service offside now, on top of all those Brexit woes; and now it seems he may be making enemies in the conservative press, as well.
