Teenagers Slay Father With Axe Over Noise

A father was stabbed to death with an axe following a row with a gang of teenagers outside his home, reports today suggest.


Paul Thrower, 46, was attacked by a gang who were allegedly smoking drugs and drinking alcohol outside a block of flats in St Dunstan’s Close, Hayes, west London.

After Mr Thrower confronted the group, one - who was reportedly holding an axe - attacked him.

The group of five were then seen running from the scene shortly after the ‘blazing row’, neighbours said today.


The handyman died in hospital shortly before 11.30 on Thursday evening.


A 16-year-old youth has been arrested and is in custody in a West London police station.

Yesterday, Mr Thrower's brother described what happened between his sibling and the gang.

I'd be happy with tough prisons and sentences of 30+ years for murder and manslaughter.

is the really any hope of these people every being part of normal society, bring back the death sentence...

 

LONG, long jail sentences for all members of that would-be "gang" should be in order...

P.S. WHAT IS the point of both the "Daily Fail's" reporting and BigAndy's heading describing the victim as a "father" ?

AS IF this emotive title somehow makes this killing more serious, or his status more important or noble
~ murder is still murder, whether the victim is single or married, a parent or not, folks !

Quite right about the long sentences bee.

Not sure why you're arguing the toss over a headline with the most read newspaper in the UK though.

I'm sure every newspaper and media outlet uses the same tactics - have a look next time - see if it says "Murder Somewhere" or "Old Granny Murders Son Outside Melbourne Brothel".

Silly man.

I'm surprised at that comment Heavenly Father

Youths hanging around, smoking drugs, drinking, armed and dangerous.

This seemingly being allowed to continue by the authorities even though there was a dispersal order, the police were obviously not active in the area, enforcing it and arresting those causing trouble.

Quote - 'Local Police have issued a Police Dispersal Notice as a result of gangs of young people gathering in the area. Police are very aware of the problem and are working with the community to stamp out anti-social behaviour.'

I personally think that the police hands are somewhat tied by PC doctrine in London, not acting strongly enough against known black troublemakers and arresting them so as to have crime figures appear to show that blacks aren't as much of a problem compared to other ethnicities as they really are, and to give the impression that they are not being overly targeted by the police to avoid the inevitable resulting knee-jerk accusations of racism.

Because as we all know from our understanding of the lefties twisted view of reality, being that 'we are all the same', so if blacks are arrested more than other ethnicities, then that is of course down to racism, never that the blacks were actually arrested for genuine reasons of crime based activity, as this might show that blacks are disproportionately more responsible for crime than other ethnicities, which then throws their whole 'we are all the same' argument out of the window, as well as bringing their pro black immigration agenda into question.


What is the reason for this softly softly approach by the police doing little or nothing against these known trouble makers and danger areas?

Is it for politically correct reasons, as described above, or is it just sheer incompetence and an example of how they have failed in delivering the basic requirements of their duties in policing these areas?



Having said that, and how this lack of police action may have lead to this man deciding to take the law into his own hands and confront the youths, this is never going to be a good idea.

We hear too often about a concerned resident who goes out to 'have a go', and ends up severely injured or dead.

People should be able to calmly tell rowdy trouble makers to pipe down and move on, without fear of attack.

But sadly, this is more likely to provoke a violent response, so what they should do is phone the police and let them deal with it.


I noticed in the article that the victim here may have done much more than to politely ask the youths to move on.....
