The "CATO Institute"...
A private company, masquerading as a Libertarian "think tank", mostly funded by the infamous Koch brothers..
One of the largest far right/conservative/'economic dry' propaganda and "fake news" sources in the USA, and possibly the world.
They are opposed to national/'universal' health schemes, climate change policy, environmental protections, a minimum wage, workplace safety, public education systems, welfare and unemployment benefits.

They support : oil and mining interests above everything else, the right of big business to rule the world, corporations to be giving the same legal rights and protections as individual people, the rights for businesses to oppose workplace and environmental protection laws, and on and on and on..
The Koch bros. have long been regarded as one of the planet's worst corporate enemies. The CATO Institute is their public mouthpiece -- what the "institutes" so-called 'experts' proclaim, the Koch brothers have largely paid for...

Who needs science when you can look around and see the results of climate change?
Who needs science when it’s common sense to know that aerosols and burning plastic must create some kind of shit cloud up in the atmosphere? If they make us humans simply cough by inhaling them, what does it do to the atmosphere?

Not to mention the burning of petrol. Anybody who's ever gotten a nice face-full of exhaust knows it's toxic.
I used to cover a town in Texas, very wealthy, where the parents would let their kids jog on the pavement next to a very busy road, always packed with cars. I couldn't believe they'd allow that; it must have been murder on the kids' lungs.
