Who's your Democratic candidate?
I don't see anyone who grabs me. Anyone feel the same?

Well if we could start by not canibalizing our fellow people, that would be a great start. As per usual there’s far too many. Instead of powering up into solid duos, there’s too much faffing about. It gets worse every 4 years.

And Touchy-Joe is out for me. We don't need someone who is sure to die in office. Besides, he's too yesterday.
None of them give me thrills and chills.

Re: Who's your Democratic candidate?
The Dems need somebody who can attract as much media attention and public fascination as Trump, and to me, the closest I've seen so far is Beto.
Sadly, we don't seem to vote for policies or qualifications, but for personality. If the left doesn't recognize that and quick, it's going to be tough to beat anybody but the weakest candidates.
Now, I do think Trump is weak enough to beat at this point, but the Republicans sort of have that fake-relatable thing cornered and if they come up with an actual good candidate in the future, the Dems are in trouble.

Re: Who's your Democratic candidate?
I heard one pundit on MSNBC who made sense to me. He said, Democrats view politics as how to fix things, so they go overboard being policy wonks.
Republicans, he said, just want to shut government down, and so it doesn't matter what they do, as long as they turn off the switches. For Republicans, it's just be pretty, or outspoken, or anything that stands out to the Republican voter.

It will be interesting to see how many Republicans who said they would vote democrat if T runs again actually will stand by their words. I know of at least 10 who definitely would, 5 of whom voted for HRC last time round.

My family is basically Republican. My sister and her husband says they would have voted Democrat, had the alternative not been Hillary.
I'm just taking my time. Meanwhile, I'm thinking of resigning from the Snowflake Democratic Party. Democrats disgust me most as much as Republicans. I'm looking into joining the Progressive Party, and breathing a little new life into it.
America needs a new, third party.

Mayor Pete impresses me. But he is so young.

I’ve always liked Tulsi and I’m like what I see from Pete, but do they have the chops to come up with the goods and stay the course. At least she has some DC experience.
