Every little bit helps and is appreciated!
First topic message reminder :
Okay, so as most everyone knows by now, eddie and I are trying to raise money in order to meet the UK financial requirement for me to qualify for a spouse visa to live with her in England.
We've been working hard but that's a lot of money to raise and it's going really, really slowly.
We resisted doing this for the longest time, but we're now asking for help. Literally any paltry amount you wouldn't mind giving.
Every pound, every dollar, will go straight into a joint Barclay's online savings account we established last spring, after we were engaged, which we are using to save for my visa application qualification. We absolutely swear none of it will be spent on wine, whiskey, jelly babies, lesbian porn, cocaine, MDMA, etc.
If you'd like to help us out, please donate at this link: https://paypal.me/britandtex

Would NHS perform the operation? He would need follow up care for years. I think you just figured out how to buy Ben a few years in the UK. As long as Eddie is cool with him/her having a vagina now.
I would suggest and dont hold me by this, but. That Ben has countless integrity and does not want to cheat the system.
I imagine he knows. That if caught, he would ruin any chance of being together with the person he has only ever truely loved..
That he would never jeopardize that.
He simple wants to be with the woman he loves
I imagine he has gone over every single possible conceivable way to stay here.
Yet you dont know Ben and neither do I, but at least I can understand. He wants to be here and to do so legally
He wants one simple thing
To be accepted as eddie's husband and to be able to stay with her
That is it.
I was being sarcastic. I didn't really expect Ben to get a vagina.

how about it mama?? who would you rather live under, trump or ISIS??
if i could id trade places with ben in a heartbeat, he could have my spot and i could move to the land of guns and trump.
i wonder if thats a thing?? can we swapys??
Hope you don't mind paying through the nose for health care! But thanks, smelly. I wish we could set that up somehow
happily, at least id be getting health care, instead i pay through the nose for the most sub standard basic socialist health care that even some thrid wolrd countries would laugh at.
dont be sick when you get here ben, yeah a cold is fine, but you get something serious and youre fucked.
there will be an entire boardroom full of arseholes on 7 figure salaries debating about wether there is enough money in the pot to fund the drug you need to live, NO will be the answer and its adios amigo.
As I said in my diary thread, I did get sick here (sinus infection) and went to a private hospital with no insurance. It cost significantly less than it costs in America to get treated when you do have health insurance, and I was seen as soon as I got there.
You might be surprised by the American health care system and how bad it is, is all I'm saying. But then again, I don't know how rich you are.

Oh for goodness sake, I know you were
He has no option on that either with a vagina
As he has to deal with a hateful pussy every day, leaving him and Eddie vile messages

Well, speaking for myself, I don’t mind and I rarely tell people to shut up if they’re giving an opinion.

I would have been treated for 20 bucks, plus the cost of an anti biotic, which would be maybe 10 bucks.

Done, the NHS will private charter a jet to bring him her, do the op and buy him a house.

I'm assuming that's with your health insurance. May I ask what your monthly premium costs?

im not rich, if i was i wouldnt be using the NHS
the NHS is good for very basic stuff like broken bones, child birth, etc but the real important stuff it sucks at.
few years back a the king family had a young son with cancer, the NHS wanted to give him normaly radiotherapy but the family knew about something called proton therapy, available in the czech republic but NOT on the NHS
the NHS effectively said no they were not allowed to use it and had to use radio therapy instead even though the chances of succes were very low in his case, so they took the boy out of hospital and went anyway
they were subjected to an international manhunt, the NHS issued an EU arrest warrant, they were arrested and spent 24 hours in jail and they son taken away from them.
eventually due to public outrage the boy and the family were allowed to go to prague and have the proton therapy and it was successful, no tumor found in later scans.
now the NHS offers proton therapy.
the reason the NHS prevented the family from going was because it exposes how shit the NHS really is when it comes to the serious stuff, and how it lacks truly cutting edge treatments, whereas elsewhere in the world this stuff is standard practice.
its not the first time the NHS has deliberately killed sick children either, there have been several cases of young children being condemned to die because the NHS with the help of the courts in the UK have blocked sick kids from going abroad to try get altenative treatments.
charlie gard, murdered by the NHS doctors. experimental treatement for his condition was on offer in new york and the parents were going to privately find it, but the NHS still said no and enforced the order through the courts, the treatement was never given and the boy died.
the NHS is so far behind almost every other developed country in terms of medical advancement and we pay through our ass for it. for its great for the basics but anything more serious and youre screwed

OMG, the above again shows a distinct paranoia again in smelly
Yes the NHS makes mistakes and that is based around money at times, which i think is wrong and i also think the NHS is unworkable. Hence why we need to adpat and have a better system, as other countries do with better health systems. What does not help our system, is a substancial number of people lead unhealthy lifestyles. Which adds to the growing problems the NHS face.
The reality is that they did get things wrong with the King case, but that in no way was a view to look to kill a child, but based on British medical understanding for the time.
They admitted they were wrong and have now adopted the policy to it will pay for children with medulloblastoma to travel abroad to receive proton therapy.
What this says to me again is that we should have this therapy here, but again our NHS system. Does not have the funds for this and that is a travesty and why the NHS needs to adpat or we will see more situations of children not having the best health care.
The view that the NHS as a body is deliberately trying to kill children. Is at best absurd, when they daily try to save countless lives.
The problem is again politics and money, and the inability to adpat the NHS system itself. That restricts progress within the NHS

There are two proton therapy centres in UK now Manchester and London. I have to say the NHS has been
wonderful for myself, my family and friends when in real need, for the more mundane stuff there may be problems with waiting times. There is problems with the costs of some drugs sometimes but on the whole for serious problems I can't see the NHS to be anything but good.

yes the NHS does basic things very well and the doctors and nurses and most of the frontline staff are generally very good, im not saying the doctors want to hurt or kill folks
im talking about the NHS as an instittion a health care provider
its utter shit compared to what else is on offer if you have the money.
if youre a millionaire, then you will have access to much better levels of care than the average joe who uses NHS standard

Its pushing 500 bucks. I'm self employed so I sorta get shit on by the system. That's why I told my kids to go work for someone.
Without health insurance it would be about 75 bucks at a doc in the box and 10 bucks for meds.

That's still a pretty good deal compared to what I got when I was on Aetna. When I'd get a thyroid check, it'd be $100 for the doc's visit, $50 for the blood test and $30 for 90 days of medicine.

Are you mental?
When you go privately, which I have many times
The same doctors operate on you
So the only difference between private and NHS is the wait
That’s all.

Just happened across this thread and I thought an update is long overdue:
We spent the money from this account on a payment to the solicitor we hired - the one who came up with the strategy we're now pursuing of applying for a family visa.
Many thanks to everyone who donated and everyone who has been cheering us on.
