Obamacare helps small businesses in California; Republicans want to ban it
... helps as in puts over $36 million back into their pockets. I'd think this will apply to many, if not most, other states:

But now Republicans want to take the tip-top law in the land down, scribble on it "I hate health care, big bad frown." *

On Tuesday, Golden State small businesses and their employees got some great news: two of the state’s largest insurers will have to give them over $36 million in insurance rebates because of an Obamacare consumer protection.
The health law forces insurers to spend at least 80 percent of the premiums they charge on paying for actual medical services, rather than administrative overhead or profits. That means more money for ordinary consumers — and less for profitable insurance companies.

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) proposed a constitutional amendment Tuesday that, if approved, would nullify Obamacare’s individual mandate. The amendment is the latest in a string of failed GOP attempts to repeal Obamacare, which many Republicans still view as unconstitutional.

Re: Obamacare helps small businesses in California; Republicans want to ban it
the idea that employers pay for health care is crazy
its the government's job otherwise what it the point in having them? it's got to be more than just because they make Guns and bombs.
any gov't that doesn't ensure a baisc standard of well being for its citizens is bad gov't. the fact that this also makes life eaiser for businesses means i really dont understand the opposition to it.

Basically it boils down to the fact that American conservative politicians are dumb as a lump of coal. They have no sane logic in their tiny brains. That's the only answer I can come up with.
