Teenage attendees took MDMA in the bath and pelted police with glass bottles
A horrified mother found her home in ruins after her 15-year-old daughter's secret party descended into chaos when 100 youths collapsed a ceiling, smashed a TV and destroyed her bed.
Officers in a dozen squad cars arrived on Chedworth Road in Glebe Park, Lincoln, on Saturday night, where they were pelted with glass bottles.
The gathering, which was advertised on Facebook and began at around 4pm, also saw revellers taking Class A drugs in a bath.

Seems that little gets done in situations like this. Are they going to sue the kids' parents? Will the police arrest them? Is there any shame involved. No to all of those.

I would seriously hope that the police would try to investigate and prosecute every crime committed.

I don't disagree, Ben. But prosecution is nor compensation. If they can get restitution to figure into the sentence, good for them. But even that never works.

This sort of disaster used to happen regularly when FB was a relatively new thing and people just did not grasp the awesome power of the social media. Messages that were private would somehow get into the public domain, then get 'retweeted' to followers …. & their own followers. . . . . and then they all descend.
Parents would go on a weekend's holiday and return to find 1,000's of £££'s of damage - and partygoers still sleeping off their booze & drugs in various rooms.
I'm surprised it still happens these days - you'd have thought these savvy teens would have wised up by now.
