Shocking video shows man repeatedly punching defenceless mother-of-three in the head and grabbing her by the throat

This is the horrific moment a man brutally batters a mother of three around the head after holding her by her throat.

CCTV footage captured the incident, believed to be filmed in Leicester, showing Gemma Cooper being punched in face twice by the offender.

Despite efforts by two other men to intervene, he then slaps and punches her one more time before walking away.

The clip was posted by her mother's partner Jimmy Wells, from Leicester, who urged viewers to share and shame the 'woman beating c***' responsible.

It goes on every day beyond closed doors. Why sensationalize it? Having it on CCTV won't do a thing to stop it.

Actually in this case, they were able to apprehend the offender

It's great that they were able to arrest the villain. But, to publicize the video is to appeal to the lurid.

Well the reason was to apprehend

If you think the mail is wrong for posting or even me the video, then its more to get a sense of how violent the attack was.

Could it have been described in words the same?

I know what you mean, but sometimes releasing videos like this, especially when the man is named and shamed, and arrested, as this thug has been, it's beneficial.

What I can never understand though is how bystanders often do sweet sod all when they witness something like this.
Had a man given him a crack he would have probably run for the hills...pathetic coward.
