NewsFix posters as fictional characters
Any poster any fictional character. Your choice but keep it fun.
This thread is kind of dedicated to Nicko who made me think of this character....here is Nicko, as Grandpa Simpson.

Right about Les, nicko?
And what are you doing up so early anyway? You have to remember, I'm in the same country as you right now.
Course I'm not up early so much as late

Right about me Ben, I'm always up early, usually around 4 to 5 am .

I love light hearted threads like this. They usually end up with someone in a sulk because they are compared to some mythical monster or ugly old witch though.
I will give this some thought and come back later with my contributions..

Syl, that's downright malevolent. I can't imagine you getting off on such mischief.
Stick to threads about Israel, Muslims and Trump. Less dangerous than someone in a sulk.

I can't post pictures, but I always picture Quill as the tubby man in the white Suite called Boss Hogg. Can not think of the series name, but there was a car called general Lee !

Haha....odd that sometimes the most innocent of threads turn out to be the nastiest ones.
You said once I seldom get involved in the political threads.....but maybe in retrospect they are safer.

Eddie's a lot of characters, really, but she's definitely got some Holly Golightly in her:

This is Ben.
Had to choose two though.
Dexter. You’ll have to look him up.
The emotional peacemaker - warrior of truth.

Ah, to at least look like Orlanda Bloom would be a fine thing
You'd be Gandalf, Vic, you have since you first arrived on Sky tbh (the avi helped lol), you have the grumpiness combined with absolute brilliance down to an art. I even hear you posts in Sir Ian's Gandalf voice

Re: NewsFix posters as fictional characters
Here's what I got for now:
Eddie - Miss Marple mixed with Hermione Granger, clever for sure but sometimes acts a smart ass, but too into conspiracies... (love you Eds x)
Ben - Matt Smith's Doctor Who, cause those occasional empassioned posts.
Didge - Wile E Coyote, sets up those big 'ingenious' traps but never quite nails his target (JK didge!)
Lord Ed - any Edgar Allan Poe character (insane ones aside!) Not so much the insanity but the awesome elaborate prose!
Veya - Stone Cold Steve Austin - technically fictional, veya sometime foregoes talk to deliver an antiauthority stunner instead lol
Wolfie - Scrappy Doo, heart's in the right place but needs to chill the fuck out.
Quill - Scooby Doo, because every Scrappy needs one!
Tommy - J Jonah Jameson, everything's not what is seems, good is bad and bad is good

My apologies Syl. I'll continue where I left off:
Syl - Catwoman. A darling and willing to fight the good fight, but best not to piss her off (Note: Catwoman in the comics is not the villain she is in the TV and movies!)
Horatio - Eowyn (Lord of the Rings), because you willing to stick it to the men, oh and I thought you were a man originally, cause your name.
Gelico - Kat Slater (Eastenders) - a good woman who isn't going to take any shit and will give you a mouthful if you come in full of BS (or what she classes as BS lol).
Raggs - Angelica Pickles (Rugrats), not really that bad but, you know, SOMEtimes...
Better the devil - Patrick from Spongebob. He lives under a rock, and our flappy friend seemed to just crawl out from under one JK head

Magica is Tinkerbell. (who else)
Rags is Miss Marple....because she always looks at things in a logical way.
Eddie is NF's very own little minx.. so she suits this lady perfectly.
Ben has to be....(I am seeing him through Eddies eyes)
Quill....
Didge, depending on his mood.
Eilzel (with partner)
Nicko, as kindly Mr Tom.
NF's mods room (no one does any work because we are all so well behaved)
I will look for more later. x

Re: NewsFix posters as fictional characters
As much as this is fun, I would like to think all people here are unique and do not need to be categorized by fiction
How about instead will simple talk about what is great about each poster or not as the case maybe
I mean fiction?
I think Kat slater looked ugly and would never hold gelico to look that bad. I could think of countless other people who look good and have do not hold their punches in debate. That person is called gelico
Another Eddie
Sorry, but dont want to put a downer on this, but why look to what people seem like. How about switching this and how then fictional charcters are them modelled on posters?
Just a thought
Yes i know this is fun, but, I dont think there is anyone fictional that comes close to being who posters are on here. As they then lose their uniqueness.
