Masked youth gangs coordinated the firebombing of hundreds of cars across Sweden via social media, police say as Prime Minister asks 'what the f*** are they doing?'

More than 100 cars have been set alight in across Sweden overnight, as gangs of masked youths went rampaging in a series of attacks believed to have been coordinated on social media.

Dozens of vehicles burned in Sweden's four major cities - Stockholm, Malmo, Gothenburg and Uppsala - on Monday evening and in the early hours of Tuesday.

Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven reacted with anger and did not hold back during a radio interview on Tuesday morning.

'I'm furious, for real. My question to these people is "what the f*** are you doing?",' he told Sveriges Radio P1.

Louts and thugs firebombing just for the sake of vandalism, by the sound of it --  with no political or philosophical motives to their actions...

True "anarchists" by the look of things,  i.e. neither right nor left-leaning, simply creating maximum pointless mayhem because that's how they get their jollies  ?

I did however, look at an article in the Guardian and picked this out:

The coordinated nature of the attacks made some suspect an attempt by the far right to whip up anti-immigrant sentiment ahead of the election, in which the anti-immigrant Sweden Democrats are vying to become the country’s largest political party.

Daniel Riazat, an MP for the Left party, said on Twitter: “I would not be surprised if far right extremists were involved in some way.”

Edds, this has been going on in France for some time, Young Muslim immigrants were responsible.
Seems highly likely the same thing happening !

The shock wave was so powerful that Mr. Zuniga’s wife, Wanna, riding ahead of him, was blown off her bicycle and sprawled on the ground, mottled with shrapnel wounds. She turned and tried to crawl toward her husband, she told a reporter later, but the police, who had been patrolling nearby, kept her back.

Weapons from a faraway, long-ago war are flowing into immigrant neighborhoods here, puncturing Swedes’ sense of confidence and security. The country’s murder rate remains low, by American standards, and violent crime is stable or dropping in many places. But gang-related assaults and shootings are becoming more frequent, and the number of neighborhoods categorized by the police as “marred by crime, social unrest and insecurity” is rising. Crime and immigration are certain to be key issues in September’s general election, alongside the traditional debates over education and health care.

Part of the reason is that Sweden’s gang violence, long contained within low-income suburbs, has begun to spill out. In large cities, hospitals report armed confrontations in emergency rooms, and school administrators say threats and weapons have become commonplace. Last week two men from Uppsala, both in their 20s, were arrested on charges of throwing grenades at the home of a bank employee who investigates fraud cases.

Its possible its the Far right, but what is more likely here, based on it being claimed its organised gangs?

Gang members tend to focus most of their violence on on another, and avoid big gaudy crimes that affect people outside their circles.

There has been many arson attacks that have gone on in sweden

Yeah... most likely was moslem immigrants... much more likely than it being the imaginary 'far right' who have only been responsible for the imaginary rioting/car burning hostility of recent years...

it appears that the police know many of the rioters but are not going to arrest them, just talk to their parent. these kids have caused,conservatively, a million quids worth of damage and the police are just going to have a chat with their parents. Un flaming believable.

1) It is mainly immigrant gangs. Just because an article does not mention this, does not mean this is not the case. Why the Police have classed areas as no-go areas

2) Yes, which is why immigration has become a problem in Sweden.

3) Now this is the by-product of allowing far to many people into a country, where its infrustructure cannot cope with the problem. Its why in such communities where there is high immigration. There is high unemployment and poverty. Its why many people think immigration needs to be at levels based on the growth of infrustructure. As seen a basic open door, has caused on told more problems and shows Sweden has been unable to cope with the problems
