Peter Jackson has reinterpreted Imperial War Museum's original archive footage to create a new film that he says is "not the usual film that you would expect on the First World War".

The footage that was grainy and flickery now looks "like it was shot in the last week or two with high definition cameras", Jackson says.

According to 14-18 NOW, the film will be broadcast on BBC One in November, but they have yet to announce theatrical releases.

Wow that will be so interesting.

There were photos done in colour a while back makes it more real imo.
