Paul Dacre resigns!
I saw this on the BBC and thought you should see it:
Paul Dacre stepping down as Daily Mail editor - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-44391449
You may not agree with his politics, his racism, bigotry or hatred of Muslims, gays, bisexuals and lesbians, but you will probably agree he is an absolute arsehole.
He can retire to his EU funded castle in Scotland amid pinups of curvy underage teenage girls, who he had dozens of tawdry hacks following around the world.

Re: Paul Dacre resigns!
You want a 'soft brexit'...?
That's the equivalent of saying that you want a floppy erection... or a wonky level... or a plastic glass... or a 1 pound win on a 10 pound scratchcard with a possible million pound jackpot...!!!
Andy... I really do wish that you would start to think about things a bit more for yourself...

Re: Paul Dacre resigns!
The public were lied to about the cost.
We were NEVER going to get £350 million per day/week/month or even year.
It was always going to cost us .
It will cost us the NHS.
It will cost us import duty on imported goods.
It will cost us jobs on lost exports.
It will lose gig economy jobs such as baristas and seasonal farm workers.
Fuel prices will rise.
Huge queues will build in Calais and on the M20 in Kent awaiting Customs clearance.
And the Northern Irish Border question.
Your Conservative government's handling of Brexit has been nothing short of an omnishambolic clusterfuck.
May says one thing.
Gove says another.
Davis says a nothing.
Boris talks gibberish.
Mogg spits plums from his mouth and says nothing worthwhile.
The cabinet are in disarray.
Farage has sunk without trace.
Negotiations have ground to a halt.
With no improvement in sight.
And the clock still ticks.
And yes, I know that Labour are not united in their approach to Brexit either.
But as they are not the party in power, it isn't really their problem..............yet.
I still reckon there will be a GE by November.
The most united Brexit strategy party will win.
Oh yes, Brexit is a real winner, isn't it?

Why don't you stand for election in your area as an MP ? With your vast knowledge of how to run a country you'd be a great asset. Ps, you might get the privilege of shaking hands with your great leader, now that would be something to brag about !

Re: Paul Dacre resigns!
Bit of a deflection there Nick, the shower in government are paid a fortune to sort out the mess they instigated.
How they do it is their problem, not yours or mine.
We will just inherit the mess it is causing and no doubt we and our kids and grandkids will. pick up the bill.

Re: Paul Dacre resigns!
Here we go again. This is one of the most important thing that has happened to the UK for many years. People will have different ideas about how to go about it but a referendum was called, the result of which suprised a lot of people not least the establishment. Instead of back biting and dragging of feet - all politicians (and the people) should now get behind Brexit and instead of carping offer up ideas for resolving the issues to the benefit of all. In fact I think the EU should be coming up with ideas as well, isn't that what negotiating
means?
This really shouldn't be a problem in a civilised society, there's no reason why a trade deal can't be found or that health, security, jobs and any other issues can't continue more or less as before.

Re: Paul Dacre resigns!
You cannot ignore the wishes of 16 million voters, or 48% of the vote.
Especially as there is empirical evidence that the Brexit campaign was flawed to the point that the electorate were lied to.

Re: Paul Dacre resigns!
We always ignore millions of voters everytime we have an election with the first past the post system. If that's the system there's no more to be said about the remain vote - get over it.

Re: Paul Dacre resigns!
I can live with the winner being a 4% majority.
What I cannot accept is the lies, spin and downright corruption of the Brexiteers.
£350 million per week to fund THE NHS. What utter bollocks.

I don't remembers anyone specifically promising £350 million per week for the NHS.
If people can't be bothered to listen, read and find out for themselves maybe they shouldn't vote.
The point that was being made was the money we pay to the EU and what we get back and that saving that money could go to sevices like the NHS. Who takes politicians word as gospel anyway?

Re: Paul Dacre resigns!
It depends how you read it and understand it. I still say it doesn't say we will fund the NHS with that
amount.
We send the EU £350 million a week
Let's fund our NHS instead.

Re: Paul Dacre resigns!
It was a slogan on a bus... it was not the reason people vote to leave the EU.

Re: Paul Dacre resigns!
I saw that labour weasel Chukkup Onyormomma being interviewed earlier by Zana Bedowi... and he was full of twisty waffle and bullshit...!
He seems to think that leaving the EU should mean that the British people should now be offered a choice between accepting a crappy 'deal' that keeps us in the EU... or if this is rejected, then that means we stay in the EU...!!!
If you were asked if you wanted tea or coffee... and you wanted tea... would you be happy to then be given coffee with milk, and if you rejected it then that meant you chose coffee without milk...?
We voted to leave the EU!!!
That means either leave the EU, or leave the EU...!!!
