Others are saying it's a fake account in her name. There's a weird rap thing about her on You Tube which has been there since 2012. I'm not sure what's going on, so apologies to Donna Crump if she's been set up.

Free speech in cases like this really only exists for those who run venues of expression, in this case Facebook. You can take to Facebook and say anything you like, but if you break their terms, do something they think damages their brand, they're not going to allow it.

If this woman ran her own web server she could post nearly anything she wanted on it -- certainly her horrible little song -- and as long as she wasn't breaking the law she'd be fine. But no, you don't have the ultimate right to free speech on a venue or publication that you don't own. And even if you do own it, you're still subject to the ridicule that is also free speech.

My initial reaction, knowing all too well what chemo can do to someone, was to think "what a sick, evil bitch..."

But then again, there's a doubt niggling away in the back of my mind which tells me that this is so sick that it could have the most serious of repercussions, possibly even fatal, for her because someone, somewhere is going to recognise that photograph. And if she is identifed her life won't be worth living.

Who in their right mind would take that risk?

I'm leaning towards thinking that this is a very, very nasty hoax on Donna Crump, whoever she is, to punish her for doing something relatively innocuous like stealing another girl's boyfriend.

To me, it just has the ring of revenge.

Well skinny people can often be mean spirited too, Scrat, but before we explore that too far, perhaps we should be aware that political correctness may again rear its ugly head and you'll be accused of being a "fatphobe" and I of being a "thinphobe."
Fortunately I'm neither obese nor skinny...the same fighting weight as I was in the RAF and I still fit beautifully into a 40-year-old dinner jacket.

I don't think there's anything so deeply Machiavellian as you suggest...it was penned either by someone with a frighteningly evil and disturbed mind or someone hell-bent on revenge. I tend towards the latter.
