The reality is Gelico, you should be condemning Tommy. As now its very possible he has provided ammuntion to the defence team of the suspects of the 3 ongoing trials to have their cases dropped, through prejudice. If those cases collapse. It will be directly down to Tommy's complete irresponsibility.

he was a fool for getting himself arrested when he did not have to. there is a reason that the 3 trials have reporting restrictions and he put all 3 trials in jeopardy by thinking he was above the law.Raggamuffin wrote:He's a rebel isn't he? Where on earth is he, to the multitude of child sex crime court cases that are not grooming gangs?
Yes, we need to openly speak about the problems of grooming gangs, espcially within the South Asian community, but all Tommy is doing is trying to exploit these crimes to sow the seeds of hate.
How many of the victims, has he actually gone to visit and speak too?
Seriously?
What you have to understand here is what motivates people and what motivates Tommy is a deep centered hate.
If Tommy really cared, then he would go to the victims and actually champion their cause. He does not do that.
So I do not care how many cops it took tackle him. I was once a footie thug, but grew up. Tommy has not and still wants attention.

I very much doubt it and as seen Tommy is emphatically hateful. That is beyond dispute and is easily backed up by the fact he cares only for himself and his beliefs. He cares fuck all for the victims of child abuse. All he cares about is pushing his own agenda.
I am all for free speech, but what is Tommy there for at the trials exactly and why does he need to excercize his free speech there and at every grooming case?

Re: Tommy Robinson arrested - yet again.
HE was not, he was identifying defendants, who are innocent until proven guilty, as they walked into court. The live stream is available on youtube. He breaks the reporting restrictions in the very first minute of the stream. He also says during the stream that he is likely to be nicked for this so he could not even argue that he did not know what he was doing.nicko wrote:As far as I know he was trying to draw attention to Muslim Pedo's who seem to be untouchable in a lot of cases. The Police seem keen to ignore Muslim offences as they know arresting one will cause a riot.
That's my take on it according to reports in the Media.Perhaps i'm wrong, I don't know !
amongst the 10000 people watching the live stream there would have ben coppers watching as well and when he broke the restrictions they would have kicked it upstairs for approvals and he was arrested and hour and 15 minutes after the broadcast started. He was arrested under breach of the peace which if you read what that is seems to qualify as it could be said he was inciting his watchers. However his legal team might want to make something out of that at any appeal. what is incontrovertible is that the contempt was apparent in the live stream and there is little chance he could get off that charge which is why he plead guilty to reduce the sentence to 10 months rather than the possible maximum of 2 years. the trial judge was quite within his rights to try him there and then and there is no requirement for a jury.
He has a 13 month sentence because he was already on a 3month suspended sentence for a previous contempt at another grooming trial .
His passion for getting grooming gangs is his downfall and got him both sentences. He has no one to blame but himself.
The one dimensional football thug image presented by the media and the left is just that one dimensional. If you watch any of his interviews with various people, Muslims included, he is streets away from that.

not true at all, people are being visited by the cops as we speak for breaking the reporting restrictions on this trial and tommys case. anyone in the UK is in contempt for reporting any details of the trials and up until yesterday, tommy's case. he did and you just broke it by discussing it. that petition could have a billion sigs and it would not have to be discussed in parliament as it is not the parliamentary petition site. The petition itself is stupid as it is calling for the PM to release him, last time I looked we had not become a banana republic yet where el presidente has control over who goes to prison or not.gelico wrote:

it's all very strange from what I hear
how many signatures does it take for a change.org petition to be presented and discussed in parliament?
anyone know?
Most of the people who are arguing tommys corner probably do not have a clue why he was arrested, and when told do not care.
the biggest winner from this will probably be the defendants who's legal team will be scouring social media to find a way to argue for dismissal or a retrial.
the 3 girls case was almost lost because the groomers tried to orchestrate something similar.
This whole issue is being manipulated by people who have their own agenda and that agenda may have little to do with Tommy himself.

thanks vin
this petition must have been started when the news broke (on social media not via MSM). Tommy Robinson arrested for breach of the peace (even though video evidence shows clearly that there was not a breach of the peace at all). Yet he went before a judge and was immediately found guilty of ''contempt of court'' and sentenced to 13 months in jail
meanwhile his london solicitor contacted Leeds police to make arrangements to come down but they lied and told her there was no need as he was being released, then they took him into coourt with a useless duty solicitor.
the judge has also ordered a total media blackout on this
there was a demo outside parliament yesterday
so far there is over 200,000 signatures within the last 36 hours or so. He is garnering support from some very unexpected quarters.
Think the establishment may have overstepped the mark a bit too much here

Rubbish, he made no point on the trial case
Speaking about Tommy, does not conflict with the trial itself, which is why the judge released the media ban. After the Independent sought a lift of the restriction. As they argued many misleading accounts were circulating
To put the record straight
Or did you not know that either, that it was the main press that sought a lifting on the restrictions of Tommy being jailed?

Tommy Robinson latest: UKIP Peer Malcolm Lord Pearson has written to Home Secretary Sajid Javid today saying : if Tommy is murdered or injured in prison he and others will mount a private prosecution against Mr Javid as an accessory, or for misconduct in public office.
I saw a report earlier that he had indeed been 'injured' while in jail and was being treated for said injuries. No further info
has been doing the rounds after claims he was attacked by 4 Muslims and sent to hull hospital were made .
however that image is from 2011 when he was attacked by a gang on asians and beaten unconscious.
i found it on this site after a one click search after seeing it on twitter yesterday
http://gatesofvienna.blogspot.com/2011/12/breaking-tommy-robinson-attacked-by.html
I am sorry to say Mr Batten appears to be using this case for his own ends as he is presumably an intelligent man who is perfectly capable of understanding the law and this case, but he chooses not to.
He has made several tweets about the case which follow the police state line.

I have been arguing with people on twitter for three days about the point that the restrictions apply to all 3 trials that end in october.nicko wrote:Correct me if I'm wrong Quill. But those defendants going into Court had already been found guilty and were going in to receive their sentences, there fore anything that Tommy would do would be of no account because it could not change the verdict of the Court ?
It's not a hard concept to understand. there are 29 defendants, the judge decided to split the trial into 3, all 3 trials deal with the same cases. Reporting on one could influence another and help defendants get off.
In october everyone will get to hear every sordid detail of these trials. this is not a blackout on Muslim trials. It is a blackout to ensure the victims get the justice they deserve.
this trial was not blacked out and was reported only last month

Yes he is, because the trial has not finished and he was filming
Again victims/witnesses could be there, that have a right of anonymity.
Again, one of the conditions of his suspended sentence, was not to do this again

he was tried by the trial judge of the case that was ongoing. That is perfectly legal. there is a page on contempt on wiki if you want the easier version. He was tried and convicted quickly that is true, but a judge CAN jail you immediately if you commit contempt in a courtroom .Raggamuffin wrote:He's been arrested, he hasn't been convicted, so it's not an automatic jail sentence.

Read the breach of the peace page on wiki. The defendant does not have to be involved if he is sown to be inciting others. He was broadcasting to 10000 people and has over a 1/4million subscribers. That will be where they get the incitement aspect from.gelico wrote:Raggamuffin wrote:He's been arrested, he hasn't been convicted, so it's not an automatic jail sentence.
hi raggs
he was arrested for breach of the peace, despite that not happening at all.
they took him off and told his solicitor and his camerman that he was being released when they enquired.
then they took him straight to court and he was jailed for 13 months
not for breach of the peace which was what he was arrested for but for contempt of court
he was not on court precincts
he did not shout abuse at anyone
he did not film any witnesses or relatives
he did not claim them to be guilty (he always said alleged)
the court case was actually finished and they were there to get the verdict
no one could have been influenced in anyway
it was a clear set up
not only was he jailed but the judge immediately ordered a media blackout on this and threatened journalists there with jail if they reported anything.

Yes he is, because the trial has not finished and he was filmingDidge wrote:The Devil, You Know wrote:
actually you are wrong. The blackout is in place until october when the last trial, which starts in february ends.
Where did I deny the blackout was until oct?
never did cathy Newman
I clearly said the trial had not finished, did I not?

He was warned at the last trial, that if the did this again, he would go to jail
He did it again, breaking the restrictions of the trial. Doing so with the upmost irresponsibility
And people are crying like babbies, because he again got his just deserves
When are people going to understand he broke the law
Not once but twice on such restrictions
He is not above the law
So me saying he is irresponsible, makes you think I hate him
I dont cathy Newman
I think he is an idiot and glad he has gone to jail
He does support ffar right veiws and a belief that Islam is taking over the west. Which is very paranoid and goes beyond criticism of Islam
To go on about videos, where I have watched them also, shows he has simple polished his performances
He is still very much of the view to stop Muslim immigration
If you cannot see that, then you are very blind indeed

I have but to be honest you have not been the least bit objective in your posts have you.Didge wrote:The Devil, You Know wrote:
I suggest you actually read what is posted instead of believing you are the only one who understands the trial.
you obviously didn't as you were posting about it whilst restrictions were in place.
Well maybe you should read mine before posting, as I have covered everything you have state, bar the claim on Tommy being beaten up
You obviously didnt did you
Again that has been lifted and makes no difference what I posted
Or did you also not know that?

Rubbish, he made no point on the trial case
Speaking about Tommy, does not conflict with the trial itself, which is why the judge released the media ban. After the Independent sought a lift of the restriction. As they argued many misleading accounts were circulating
To put the record straight
Or did you not know that either, that it was the main press that sought a lifting on the restrictions of Tommy being jailed?

Yes I very much understand them
as again what did he say that would have caused a problem to the trial?
Nothing

Oh my Cathy, did I say was objective?
I know Tommy's views very well and am a critic of islam myself, but he goes well beyond that
Or did you not know that either Cathy?

he had little choice but to plead guilty as the evidence is obvious in his stream, had he not then he would likely got 2 yearsDidge wrote:gelico wrote:

The reality is Gelico, you should be condemning Tommy. As now its very possible he has provided ammuntion to the defence team of the suspects of the 3 ongoing trials to have their cases dropped, through prejudice. If those cases collapse. It will be directly down to Tommy's complete irresponsibility.

You mean, he would have been an idiot if he had pleaded not guilty
I mean who gives a stuff really
He is nothing more than an idiot and irresponsible, that could have placed this trials having to have a re-trial
Do you think he should get sympathy for such stupditym, where he cares more about his own ego than the actual victims?
because if he cared for the victims, he would not have filmed the trial, after already being warned previously when on trial

Never claimed you did and hence why I asked you a question on this. Why I am stating he has got what has been coming to him
His ego is bigger than the need to ensure justice happens for the victims of grooming gangs
