Initial DNA analysis of Paracas elongated skull released
It had mtDNA (mitochondrial DNA) with mutations unknown in any human, primate, or animal known so far. But a few fragments I was able to sequence from this sample indicate that if these mutations will hold we are dealing with a new human-like creature, very distant from Homo sapiens, Neanderthals and Denisovans.

umm mitochondrial DNA doesn't effect that. it is related to the transfer and of energy nutrients between cells... it is quite different from the DNA in stem cells that control what/how our cellular structure grows.

And one mans Hypothesis does not make it science. especially when they guy is a extra-terrestrial archaeologist

anyway
pretty sure the skulls are the result of ritual head deformation practiced by many cultures it generally involves apply constant pressure/restriction to a baby's skull over years of growth the desired deformity occurs. No different than 'lotus feet' that Chinese women used to have.
You see only this one guy doesn't think it is that, everyone else sort of in agreement that is probably how they did it.

Read a similar article here giving more views:
http://news.discovery.com/human/psychology/why-pointed-skulls-spawn-alien-theories-140211.htm
The last point sums it up for me:
While it may be tempting and entertaining to look for extraterrestrial, or even supernatural, reasons for strange human deformations, there is no need to do so. Those who have mystery-mongering books and DVDs to sell (and documentary films to promote) will always find an audience. For anthropologists and anatomists, however, there's little mystery about their origins.

Good afternoon Folks.
But wasn't a similar story released a year or two ago in which similar claims were made.
Anyway,if you go to Redruth in Cornwall there are loads of specimens like that walking the streets.
